The Truth

Have you read my twin's post? If not, you can go read it here. Seriously though folks that won't be necessary because here's what I did... I went to her place and lifted it and now I'm going to FIX it.

Did it occur to you that the Queen of Detail - or rather the Detail Whore aka Elis aka PK might... just maybe might have left out a teeeeensy tiny detail or two? Seriously folks. She's a trouble maker that twin of mine. She even admitted that she likes to tell half truths just to get people's reactions.

Just today she told me in an email that she used to tell people her mother was sleeping with her boss. What kind of kid would tell people THAT? And the truth? Oh, her mom was sleeping with the boss alright. Any guesses as to who the lady worked for? Her HUSBAND. Elis' dad!!!

Here's what I want you to do.... read her post again (it's right here for your convenience) along with my interjections and then you tell me WHO really needs spanked around here. It ain't me.

Trust me, she's only told you the half truth.

Read on... my interjections will be EASY to recognize!!!

What do you think?

Folks I need your opinion on something. (opinion my ass. She's causing trouble, I tell ya!!) I think many of us have become good friends out here. Many of us leave each other comments. Some of us email each other and have gotten closer that way. Maybe we have shared our real names, maybe the state where we live. You know my twin and I have gotten close. We email, okay we email a lot. After awhile as we got to know each other better I needed to send her something in the mail so now I can threaten, “Hey, I know where you live!” And I included my return address so we stayed even. (For the record Theresa, she knew where I live long before I knew where she lives)

But of course it was just us, no husbands were involved. Until one day I slipped up and forward something that Nick had sent me. Of course I immediately got an email back taunting me with “I’ve got Nick’s email address! I can tell him anything I want”. In a panic (this was a bit early on) I told her to delete it! She wrote back a very soothing “Oh keep your pants on, here’s Adam’s”. So we were even again. (This part is 100% true).

We finally exchanged phone numbers; I can’t blame her, who wouldn’t want to hear a soothing Southern voice every now and then! But I do have to say that every time I hear that Yankee accent I do get a big grin on my! Mollie will look over and ask “Eva?” (yes her southern voice is soothing... and the accent is hysterically funny... words like boil and foil sound like ball and fall)

But now last week there was a little change. Eva and Nick began emailing each other. Hmmmmm… okay I could make this sound bad but in all honesty I gave him her work address and told him to give her updates on how the trip was going so that was about it. (And truly I am surprised that she didn't try to make it sound bad, but the truth is that Nick sent TWO emails. I responded with a polite "thank you for the update" and both times that was the END of the emails) Then when I got back she was saying how now she could email him any time with anything she wanted to say. (Well I do officially have his address now, yes?) I reminded her that I had Adam’s email address too. WRONG! Turns out she had sent almost a dummy address – one she checks for him!! Not exactly like I have Adam’s ear! I whined and pouted enough to get the real one with each of us promising not to use them unless there was an emergency! (Turns out - Adam informed me - that he does indeed use that one every day and so now she has TWO addresses for him)

But today, today… (and this is what I need your opinion on) today was different. This morning Eva called and Nick and talk to him after I left for work. YES! I am serious! Now I have yet to here a detailed version of this conversation from either of them. I am sure that Eva will comment or post something (darn right Eva's gonna post something) with her version of this event but in any true version she can’t deny that she called and talked to Nick at my houses after she was reasonably certain that I had left for work. Now for my question – should I call and have a long talk with Adam? I have lots to say and yes, Eva, I do have him number!! Let me know folks!

Here's the TRUTH people!!! Yesterday morning in my neck of the woods, little corner of the world, whatever - the weather was HORRIBLE. The roads were the worst I'd driven on all year. I left my house in plenty of time to get to work. I allowed myself 90 minutes for a 45 minute drive. I like company when it's bad out. Adam and I talked a time or two but he had to get ready for work so I called PK.

When she answered her phone at 7 in the morning I told her that I was calling for sympathy. I NEVER call her this early so she probably figured something was up. Oh wait. I did call her on my way to work just one other time... on her birthday.

Anyhow, I told her how horrible the roads were and after calling the powers that be who didn't cancel school a few choice words she was VERY sympathetic.

We talked a few and I told her I'd email when I got to work but then something happened.....

Apparently there was a very bad accident. I got stuck sitting in traffic and ended up actually being late for work for the first time in my life. Honest. I've NEVER been late. Anyhow, as I'm sitting there and sitting there I thought of PK. And I love her to death for how she worries over me and knew that while I'm sitting in traffic she'd be worried when she didn't get an email from me.

So I called her again to say "look, I'm stuck in traffic.. don't panic if you don't hear from me for a while. I'm actually close to work but just can't go anywhere till they clear this accident."

Imagine my surprise when Nick answered PK's CELL PHONE. He told me that she left for work and forgot it, that he was going to take it to her later. I explained to him why I was calling. We politely said good bye to one another and hung up....

So what do you all have to say now?

And PK? Where are you? You should hang your head in shame for making Eva look like... ummmm... well... uh... what were you trying to make me look like anyhow?

The truth, people, that's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Sheesh... you all need to learn to probe a bit deeper when PK tells you something.

Looks like the detail whore is only a whore when it suits her!!!

NICK....PK DOES NOT DESERVE TO SIT ON AN UNSPANKED BOTTOM TOMORROW!!!! SHE'S TRYING TO MAKE US BOTH LOOK BAD!!

So PK, let me know how awesome the spanking is that I know you're gonna get for this little stunt!!!

And the rest of you... I thought you were my friends!! How could you wish a spanking upon me like I read over there in PK's comments... oh wait..

Name That Tune

Okay everyone... this will be fun.

We're going to play "Name That Tune" Eva style.

Okay so you gotta be old perhaps to remember that show from the seventies. If you're not quite remembering, let me give you a hint.

I do realize that there are some who are too young to remember but old enough to be spanked!

This is Just Plain Random

My blog has become boring.

My life has become boring.

And what sucks is that I don't even care.

I told Elis today that I'm just not into this spanking thing at the moment.

The other day we were in the kitchen.

Me and Adam... not me and Elis.

Adam got out a wooden spoon and started using it on my jean covered rear a bit.

Dang.

It stung.

My bottom is out of shape.

I told Adam that.

He quit.

Elis has been harpin' at me to go back and read my blog from the beginning.

I don't wanna.

Why not?

Cuz I know that somewhere way back there I said something about "wanting the spankings that I don't want."

Did I REALLY say that?

Yeah. I did.

Did I mean it?

Yeah. I did.

So maybe I'll post this.

Adam will read this.

I'll get spanked.

Then maybe my blog won't be so boring.

Maybe I should add another chapter to the Jake and Raina saga.

Oh, and one more thing.... I am NOT posting my quiz answers until Grace takes my quiz.

PK and I are locking arms and not budging on this one.

The Quiz

I got this from Tiggr who got it from Padme and I just had to do it too. You know what they say, when it rains, it pours; it's either feast or famine... or something like that. I know, I know... I missed about 4 days of posting and then post 2 in less than 24 hours but I can't wait to see how PK does on my quiz. She's such a DW. My guess is that she will score a 70 or higher. Actually I believe she'll get a 90 or higher but I don't want to put too much pressure on her. LOL Anyhow, here it is......

Tidbits and Chatter

How the heck are you all doing?

It's been a busy week so I haven't been on here much. Besides there's just nothing spanking related to report. And meanwhile PK's running all over Disney in an obscene shirt. And Tiggr, I do believe the picture is actually a Mardi Gras thing, yes? I would imagine such attire would be immediately dealt with in Disney... or one would hope.

How about those Tornadoes? I do hope all my southern friends are safe and sound. The school being hit in Alabama broke my heart for many reasons. Kids should not die young. That's a tragedy I have trouble understanding.

And the bus that went over the bridge? That's twice that's happened in the past few months. Up until that first incident I've never heard of such a tragedy and now there's been two. What's up with that?

On the bright side of life, the snow in my little corner of the world is melting. Forty degrees can feel mighty fine when you've become used to subzero wind chills.

The pup is growing. He looks more like a dog than a pup now but he's still the cutest thing since Dorothy and Toto.

And it's the weekend. I rolled out of bed this morning (after working a 14 hour day yesterday) and my first thought was "I can't wait to climb back into this bed." At work after my third yawn in as many minutes I was asked "Is this place keeping you up?" My response: "As a matter of fact it is. I'm going back to bed as soon as we're done here."

Adam took me out for supper tonight. Italian. Eggplant. Spaghetti.

Tomorrow I won't have to wake to the alarm. I will probably wake to the puppy licking my face. So that might sound disgusting but for me it's a pretty sweet way to wake up.

Did you know there's going to be a lunar eclipse tomorrow? And the moon is going to have a copper glow to it? That's interesting. I'm going to have to check that out.

And how about American Idol? I NEVER watched it till this season. We started a few weeks ago and now we're hooked. I have an absolute favorite that I'll be watching. Heck, they are all phenomenal but in my humble opinion Melinda Doolittle should win it. That girl can SING. Wow.

Jeff Foxworthy is funny enough but on his new show "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader" he's a riot. I love watching these adults make total fools of themselves. Did you catch the one who didn't know which country has the longest border with the United States? Duh. How could a person not know that? Oh, and the how many states border the ocean on the left? That was a trick question. Who thinks of Hawaii and Alaska when you are thinking "coastline?" Foul!!

Anyhow, I've missed talking to everyone this week as I've only managed a little here and there so hey y'all... let's chat.

Theresa, Diet Pepsi is still the bomb girlfriend! And I loved your top six it's too cold signs!! I'll return the favor in July with a top 6 list for when it's too hot!

Elis, Gosh, I've missed you hanging out in my monitor. How was Florida? And the shirt?

Lisa, How's things with you and Edward? I do hope you guys are having some fun!!

Maggie, have you talked with Mr. C about "things" lately?

Spanky and Kallisto, You two are my heroes. Where do you get your energy from?

Look Out Disney.... Here She Comes

So PK's headed to Disney?

I got an email from her at work today. That's nothing new of course. I get at least 10 a day from her. Yeah, okay so maybe that's cuz she's answering the ten I sent her. Or maybe I'm answering hers. No matter. The point is PK is headed to Disney.

In this particular email she sent me a picture of a new shirt she bought for the trip. She wanted to know what I think of it. I told her that I didn't really know; that I'd ask all of you.

So what do you say? Should PK wear her new shirt while she's at Disney? What do you think?

Personally, I think she should wear it. She's adventurous, brave, and bold enough to pull it off... er, I mean ... well you know what I mean AND you know what I do NOT mean. LOL

I wonder what she'll do if someone tries to pinch Mickey's cheek? Or pat his head?

I don't know about all of you but if I was to wear this shirt in public, I'd probably end up with that warm butt that I haven't had in a while.

Ohhhhh... now I get it.... That's EXACTLY what PK's after, huh?
