Bored

I was looking through templates and just couldn't resist this one. It reminds me of my other one but with the twist of winter thrown in. Don't you just love winter? Boy I do.

Yeah.

Right.

Sure I do.

How long till spring?

Summer?

Anyhow, I was inspired by a fellow blogger who put her holiday decorations up at her place. I just had to follow suit.

Anyhow, I like it... for now.

I'm off work today. How nice is that? It's a slow quiet day. I'm enjoying it. It's cold and rainy outside. I made a big pot of soup and just had a mug-ful. It's really good.

PK turned her nose up at it but what else is new? She doesn't eat anything that's good for her.

Oh, the computer place called. My computer will be back in about a week or so. It has to be shipped to somewhere in the western part of the country. The good news is that it's under warranty so I don't have to pay. I am glad of that because with Christmas and all... well you know how it is.

Anyhow, I am bored but I'm certainly not complaining. I like having the time to actually get on here and play around.

Maybe I'll go play a game of euchre on yahoo.

Yeah. That's it.

Euchre.

*************************************************************************

Okay so I didn't go play euchre but I did find this:

The House is Quiet Again

So how was your holiday? Do other countries celebrate Thanksgiving? I'd love to hear from some of you who aren't from the United States. Do you have a similar holiday? When is it? Is the USA the only country that does Thanksgiving?

Educate me. I'm holiday illiterate!

Anyhow, we had a very nice holiday here. The turkey was the BEST I've ever cooked. EXTREMELY moist and quite tasty too. That stuffing was awesome... Yankee stuffing. It's just your basic stuffing with a pound of sage sausage sauteed and mixed into it. I was worried about how I would handle a holiday but it was fine. I mean if you can't eat, you can't eat. When you're stuffed, you're stuffed. End of story.

We have been decorating.

On Friday Adam and I were home alone while the kids were out doing the black Friday thing. You'd think we would have made good use of the time... well we did... sort of. I mean there was no spanking or sex BUT we did get Adam's Santa Claus collection out. We also put the tree up. Yesterday we put Adam's Christmas village out and today he decorated outside while I worked on decorating the tree. There's still a little to do but hey, it's early. We still have a month to go.

After church today we took the kids to lunch. Immediately after that offspring #3 left to go back to school. For over a week we've had a houseful every evening. Tonight it's quiet. It's nice. Adam is watching TV. I'm here on the computer. Speaking of computers... my kids broke my six month old laptop. It was accidental. Actually I can't even say they broke it. It broke while in their possession. Hopefully it will be fixed under warranty because it's a nearly $300 repair. Excuse me? The dang computer didn't cost a whole lot more than that... $700 I think. Anyhow, it's supposed to be ready by the end of the week. Fingers crossed that they don't call it "abuse" and charge me for it. Seriously that computer has NOT been abused. It's as clean looking as the day I got it... and I NEVER set it down hard or anything. I told the guy I bought it from to look at it... when he said the manufacturer might determine it to be abuse cuz the part that broke off doesn't just fall off... excuse me? It's that little pin in the whole where the power cord goes.

It DID fall off... no one was harsh with it but I might get harsh if they try to make me pay for a repair. I mean come on... that little pin?? $300??? I think they need to find another way to hook up the power in that case!! Sheesh.

Oh well.. I'm just glad I have two computers. Ask PK though... she said she's missing going to bed with Adam and I at night. I miss taking her! I usually email her a good night right before I shut it down and turn out the light.

Let's see... what else is new?

Christmas is coming...whether I like it or not. This year I'm not liking it much. I'm just not in the mood. I'd rather it was summer and I was on another road trip. It's cold in my corner of the world. How about yours? We had a little snow on the ground the other day. Ugh. Have I ever told you that I hate winter??

PK's on my case. She's trying to pressure me into doing something I just can't do. Talk to her, would you? Tell her that I just can't get inspired to write a Fantasy Friday story. I wish that I could. I need an idea. I told her one came to me in the middle of the night but I didn't write it down and now I can't remember what it was. It would have been a good story too!! At least when I was half asleep and the idea came to me I thought it sounded good.

Have you noticed I didn't update the ticker? My weight has stayed steady this week. I can't blame it on the holiday because honest, I didn't eat any more than I would any other time. I think it's just one of those plateau times you hear about with weight loss. It's been long enough though ... I hope I drop a few pounds this week. I mean with PK changing the challenge rules on me every other breath I take NOW is NOT the time to be on a plateau. Sheesh.

So how's your world? Hope your holiday was GREAT and that the upcoming season is truly a blessing in your life!!

Chunk up 2 cups of leftover turkey into bite sized pieces and spread over broccoli.

Mix together:

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup Helman's mayo (must be real mayo)

2 Tbs. curry powder

2 Tbs. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix well and spread over turkey and broccoli.

Sprinkle two cups shredded cheddar cheese over sauce.

Cover with 8 oz. bag of pepperidge farm stuffing crumbs in the blue

Public Blogging News

Okay.

I can't take it.

I'm going back to the public eye.

I've deleted most posts which refer to my occupation and of course there is no reference to it in my profile. See, the thing is I miss the fun of being "part of the gang."

And I've got some news for the whole world to see.

My twin.

PK.

She's MEAN!!

Now hear me out. I know most of you like her better than me but that's only cuz you don't know her like I do.

First off, I mentioned in passing back in October that my weight should catch hers by Christmas. She went into orbit and was all over me from that moment on. And now? She's scared so she's bumped the date from Christmas to her birthday.

And if that weren't enough, today she informs me that when I lose I have to come clean her house.

I yelled, "I don't even clean my own house.... why would I clean yours?" Oh, okay. So it would be an excuse to see one another again but really, people... listen to me a minute. She's manipulating me into a position where I don't stand a chance! Is this fair I ask you?

It was just a comment. A simple comment. And even with the date being changed she's sabotaging all my efforts. She even called me a bad mother when I told her that I was going to the gym tonight. She said I was abandoning my child. Ummmm... excuse me? The "child" to which she refers is twenty two years old!! And she didn't want to go to the gym with me.

I fought back.

I hit her with my best shot... "At least I cook for my kids when they are home."

PK informed me that she cooks for LJ all the time when he's home. I couldn't resist. I asked her what - exactly - does she cook for him.
She says she puts a hotdog in the microwave now and then... or a frozen pizza in the oven.

Hmmm...

Amazing the boy doesn't have clogged arteries already.

What's my point? To let you all know that my twin is taking this weight loss thing way too far. She's encouraging me to eat bad things and to not exercise.

Why?

Because she's scared, that's why!!!

So anyhow....... as much as I love her, guess what I did tonight? I walked for one solid hour at the gym.

So there, twin.

So if you're not busy, stop by her place tonight and encourage her to enjoy that big old staff lunch tomorrow at work.

Footnote- PK here...

Can you believe this? Can you believe she called me evil? Talk about the original evil twin! And to attack both my mothering and cooking skills! When talking about cooking for LJ is conveniently forgot to mention that I also sometime put a Hot Pocket in the microwave for him! And I sometimes make him grilled cheese! So there!!

On the other hand her daughter drives hours and hours to see her parents and what does her loving mother do? She leaves this poor girl home alone merely to go exercise to try to beat me. Or get me beat, whatever.

And one more thing – I have never told her to eat stuff she is not supposed to. Just to eat when she is supposed to because she is never hungry! She is just tormenting me because we are having a big eat fest at work tomorrow! Every goody imaginable! I am not even going into the room tomorrow. I really want to beat Eva, I mean I want Adam to beat her, well you know want I mean.

And yes I really do love her dearly, I will be thrilled when she passes me on her phenomenal weight loss journey, as long as it is after the 15th!

The Ultimate Twin Challenge

The ticker's down 3 1/2 pounds this week and my twin?

Get this!!!!

You won't believe what she has asked of me now!!

First off, we were talking back and forth in email at work the other day and she was whining.

Yes.

Whining.

My twin was whining big time about how no one posts details anymore.. that even she and I don't tell each other stuff like we used to.

I do believe there's a good reason for that. I guess I feel like she's heard it all from me before so why repeat the same old stuff? I figure if there's ever anything new then I'll tell her. I think many of us are in that mindset.

If there's something new to tell, I'll tell it. Why repeat it?

Ahhhh.... but I've been thinking... maybe there are readers out there who this is new to and it's NOT the same old thing to them. Like my twin says, these blogs are helpful to newbies to the spanko life. That of course tears me up when I think of being private. I don't like being private after all but feel like my back is against the wall and I have no choice.

Last week I went through and removed every post that had the words "teacher," "teach," "taught," and "Ohio" in them. By the end of the day, I went private and put them back. What if I went public and removed all that again and we never, ever mention that stuff?

Anyhow, back to my twin..... post some details of your own for her, would you?? But not only was she whining about details and such she also CHANGED OUR CHALLENGE on me!!!

I had told her in October that my weight would catch hers by Christmas. I factored in that she's losing but I'm losing faster because of my gastric bypass. Now all of a sudden she wants a BIG challenge in a BIG way!!

And - get this - she's blaming it on Nick.

She said he did the math. He figured our averages and that we should weigh the same by her birthday which is - in case you forgot - December 15th.

C.C, you're on it, right?

Good!!

Spread the word everyone. We'll have a party that day at PK's site.

Anyhow, she wants to take 10 days ... ten WHOLE DAYS off the initial challenge.

Sheesh.

She's killing me!!!

And - get this... the weights have to be verified by Nick and Adam because she admits that she's a liar!!!!!

Wait.

There's more.

The winner gets a good girl while the loser has to pay by being spanked with the implement of the winners choice.

Sounds good except for that ten day thingy!!!

Can I do it in less than a month?

Well guess what?
I do believe I can....

So, PK - my twin - my best friend - I have just one thing to say to you....
Bring it on, babe.

It's on.

My weight will be below yours by December 15th or you will get to pick the implement for me....
How about this... want to up the ante a bit? How about THREE implements of the winners choice??

You up for it??

Now That I Have Freedom

This is nice. I like the private feel.

I'm not in fear for my job. I just don't ever want to have to be. Seriously the only way that could happen is if students were to find this blog. That's not yet happened and this way it never will. I like that.

Speaking of my job..... It's been a rough couple of weeks at work. We had a death on our staff and it's hit us all pretty hard.

Lori was 38. Tall. Thin. Beautiful. Happily married. Two children. Athletic.

The proverbial picture of health.

Or so we thought.

On Saturday, October 27th she had what they think was a stroke or aneurysm. On Monday they had to do emergency surgery. They were hoping to stop her uncontrollable seizures by relieving some pressure on her brain. She died Tuesday night.

It was so sudden and unexpected. I guess her husband's a mess. I don't know him. I hear he's staying with his parents, that he hasn't gone home yet. I can't say that I blame him. If Adam were to die suddenly I don't think I could sleep in our bed. There's just too many memories there... spanking and otherwise.

How could this happen? She was one of our guidance counselors. SHE was supposed to be the one to take care of all of US when this sort of thing happens.

It sucks. She's missed greatly at work especially by the two secretaries in the guidance department and the other counselor. All three have to look at her closed door all day. I don't know how they do it.

Rest in peace, LB.

Happier note:

I got spanked pretty darn good Friday night. We're still working on getting that aspect of our life back on track. I'm just not as interested as I used to be. I even thought about just deleting my blog but figured I would be sorry if I did that because as we all know, this desire for this thing we do comes and goes with a vengeance at times. I'd hate to find myself missing my blog like crazy... and all of you.

I must admit though, this aspect of privacy does make me want to sit down and write a bit more than I've been doing so I'm sure I'll be back soon! In the meantime, thanks for stopping by!!

The Door is Locked

Hi everyone!

So I suppose you're wondering why I've decided to go private.

Well, it's not a secret that I am a teacher. And it's not a secret that lately teachers have been getting slammed in the media for sexual perversions against kids. Of course the majority of us are good, honest, hard working, God fearing people but as the saying goes, it only takes a few to spoil it for the rest of us.

Let me assure you that what you see is indeed what you get.

Yes, I'm a teacher. I teach high school math. No secret there, huh?

What really did it for me - what caused me to switch this blog to private is the fact that there's been a warning issued to teachers in my state... Okay... Ohio. I'm in Ohio but you already had that figured out, huh? Anyhow, this warning is to teachers. They've threatened to revoke our license if we're found posting inappropriately on my space and other such sites.

Hmmmmm.......

I love my husband. I'm true to him. He's true to me. I would never sexually harm a child but as we all know those who are into spanking and other such sexual things are considered abnormal. Freaks. And oh, dear Lord, we must be stopped because we might hurt a child. My love of spanking and sex with my husband has NOTHING to do with kids. It's my private life. I almost feel like we're back in the 1800's when teachers were held to ridiculous standards.

Can you say Stepford Teachers? That's what we are becoming.

I don't know how far the state will take all this. Their main concern is against those who are actually carrying on with kids. Apparently some kids have discovered their teachers' sites and posed as adults, had conversations with them, etc etc etc.

The risks are probably not all that high but as I sit here typing I can feel weights being lifted from my shoulders. See, I've always been a bit nervous about all this. I can't afford to lose my job. And not only that, if I was found out, Adam would probably lose his job, too. We're both in careers which are held to a higher standard than the rest of the public. I love my job but I hate that I can't be like everyone else when the public is watching. So what's the solution? Block out the public and talk to those few who have proven themselves trustworthy over the past year to year and a half.

So if you want to see what I'm talking about just google "ohio teachers myspace" and you're sure to come across articles about this issue. Call me paranoid. This blog is not worth losing my job over. I honestly don't believe I'm doing anything at all that's wrong or inappropriate for an adult female who is my age however, I don't know how the state would view it. By taking this blog private I feel as though I am in a more intimate setting with just a few close friends and God help us all when big brother shuts THAT down. In the meantime this assures me that no students will ever find this site and that's all I think the state is really after anyhow.

If others ask you about my going private, please do not discuss the reason with them. Tell them I welcome their emails and questions. Encourage them to ask me for myself.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll keep me on your blogroll!!!

Details

And I thought my twin was the only detail whore out here!!

Sheesh!!!

Details, details... I think you all are a bunch of whores just like my twin!!

Tee-hee....

Okay, okay...

It was no big deal, really.

We were walking out of a restaurant and he hauled off and landed about 4 quick ones on my behinie. I have no idea who was watching or if anyone was even around. I hustled it to the car and didn't look back. I honestly didn't want to know if anyone saw.

And then just tonight we were in WallyWorld. We were in the guy's sock aisle cuz Adam needs a new pair of black dress socks. As we headed down the aisle after he made his selection he started smacking my behinie again... right there!! In WalMart!!! Sheesh, I tell you the man has no regard for my dignity or reputation.

Something I've noticed too is that the slightest smack to my rear HURTS!! I've lost a lot of cushioning so my protection is gone. How DO you skinny girls handle it?

Tomorrow night we're going out. I mean OUT. It's a big deal. We had to buy Adam a new suit for the event and I was thinking a nice, classy, dignified pantset for me however I ended up with a dress... a floor length dress. It's pretty classy and it makes me look THIN... VERY thin which is why I agreed to a dress over pants.

It's a fundraiser event for Adam's work. Pretty swanky. I'm not used to swanky... SPANKY is more like it!!

And speaking of Spanky, I met a couple at the gym last night. We talked as we circled the track. Turns out their last name is the same as mine but we're not related to any of the same people. That's what happens when you have one of those short, sweet, popular last names like Smith or Jones or something. Anyhow, their dog... it's name is Spanky. Of course you KNOW what I thought about THAT. For sure this couple has to be spankos.

And then they tell me he's named Spanky cuz he's such a little rascal. Yeah. Sure. If you say so. Nice cover up, eh?

Anyhow, tomorrow morning I will weigh in and fix the ticker if need be. It's the big one.. dropping below the 200 mark. I just wanna see a ONE!!!! Tomorrow?

You'll have to stop back and see!!!

Adam Spanked Me In Public

That's all.

Adam spanked me.

In public.
