Email

Hey everyone!!!!

Recently I received an email that was quite an interesting read. And of course, I responded to it. As I wrote, it occurred to me that it would make a very nice post so with the other person's consent I am bringing you her email followed by my response....

It occurred to me as I read and wrote that some of the best spanking info is exchanged in emails. While that's awesome and can be educational, comforting, and down right fun it excludes others.

Okay now I'm digging myself a hole. It's OKAY to exclude others at times. Heck, PK and I exclude the world every day but sometimes the info just cries out to be shared with others who are struggling to find their way in this journey of self-discovery.

So anyhow, my new found friend Terpsichore has consented to giving you all a peek into our recent conversation.

From Terpsichore:

So I noticed that my husband left his belt draped over the wooden safety gate leading downstairs to our office...and I couldn't help my thoughts from wandering.

Now this is the belt that my husband wears with his jeans on the weekends...the leather one he has had for a really long time which is soft and supple and so alluring to me...the one that when he started sorting out some old clothes to donate I told him he couldn't throw that one out...that he needed to save that one - leaving a peculiar look on his face and a big smile on my face that I tried to hide...

I said to myself that I hoped to try that someday...or did I say it aloud? I can't remember.
Now seeing it just sitting there distracting me seemed a cruel joke to me...he is never going to use that on me in a million years...he is not even ready to give me a full spanking with his hand none the less a leather belt...and truthfully the idea scares me a little bit as it seems to me it must hurt a lot...

Perhaps you can enlighten me...but yet I still hope someday to try it...

My first mind blogs were when I was about 12 years old and I created a story in my head about a family...it wasn't my family nor was I even in it...it was a story of a boy who was being raised by his much older brother once his parents died (If you ever watched the tv show "
Party of Five" please note that I created this story far before the series ever came out) and when the boy got into trouble for sneaking out of the house or lying he would get spanked with the belt...

At the time I thought I was just imagining a different life to see what it would be like...
the most trouble I ever got into growing up was not putting my clothes away and leaving them in a pile on the floor ...and my parents were very easy going and never spanked me or my brothers.

I thought or convinced myself for years that I created this story to imagine what it would have been like to have a strict authoritarian figure in my life and what it would be like to get into trouble...I never made the connection why whenever I continued the story or other similar stories in my head I had this funny little feeling deep down.

It was wasn't until much later....much much later...that I made the connection. I was a little naive and a late bloomer. I still think of that story...I know the details of the family and everything that happened in their lives since the main character was born until his thirties and yet the scenes I go over and over are the discipline ones with the belt.

I know I would never spank my children and I haven't been a child for a long long time, so why is it that this fascinated me so still. Just that little feeling I get still exists - only now I know why. I think when I wrote the first draft of my secret to share with my husband it was similar to the story I wrote in my head so long ago in that it surrounded discipline as the tone of the spanking. And then I read it and realized I don't want to be punished or disciplined I just want to be spanked...and then rewrote (and rewrote and rewrote...) until my fantasy translated into the reality I thought I wanted... ...and at this time means erotic spankings for pleasure and playful spankings and flirtations (and occasionally the threat of a discipline spanking for something silly).

My husband and I are making love and connecting more since I shared with him, and I don't feel the need to mind blog as much - but I do still mind blog occasionally - only most of the time now I envision scenarios in which my husband is spanking me...maybe if I keep thinking and sending positive energy I will make it manifest itself into reality...but there are other moments when I find my mind thinking of scenarios in which someone like my husband or a made up friend disciplines me for not taking care of myself or talking negative about myself which makes me wonder even more...

...and that brings me back to that damn belt...that sits there on the gate taunting me throughout the day... thought I would share... :-)

~~~~~~ooooooOOOOOOoooooo~~~~~~~
My response to her:
Wow... and share you did.
I do believe it's most awesome that you are sorting this all out in your head and in writing. I also believe that you are a very wise woman to realize that what you want is some erotic fun and not someone to dominate and dictate over you. Keep sharing with your husband. He'll get it eventually.
Once my hubby really started to get it, we got on the Internet together and looked at pictures...
"Ouch..."
"that's way too much"
"She looks like a wimp...."
"I wouldn't mind red marks like that but those dark bruises are brutal...."
It was good for us to do that because we got a feel for what we wanted... and you know, that might just make a good post.....
We also watched some video clips... just to be able to say "that's nice" or "that's too much" etc.
Most men do get into it once they see the benefits for themselves in the bedroom and out of it. Honestly since we started spanking, we RARELY fight and if we do, it's just a tiff... no big deal. Life is so much better because of it.. how can he NOT want to? In the beginning he didn't spank hard enough or long enough but I never complained just cuz he's come so far but the ne
xt day I'd taunt him with "I could have taken a lot more... " And he'd rise to the challenge quite nicely over and over...
Yesterday he was smacking my rear with that dang back scratcher. I really do need to hide it or break it or something... and when I said "OUCH that hurts" He went at it all the harder and it occurred to me that he doesn't care cuz he knows it's supposed to and he knows that I want it to.
My point is that it's a growing process. It takes time. You'll get there and so will your husband!! Keep headed in that direction.
Lori's Fault
The ticker has only changed a half pound in two weeks.
It's okay. As long as it's going in the right direction or NO direction at all, I'm okay.
So have you been reading Lori and Joe over at
Switching Gears?
It's all Lori's fault.
Seems they have this thing with butt rubs and aloe lotion. I hadn't really noticed but Adam sure did. He even mentioned something about how we should get some.
That was a few days ago.
Fast forward to today.
We're in Wal*mart's checkout line debating if we would have enough cash on us to pay for the purchases or if we'd have to put it on a credit card when all of a sudden Adam's doing one of those ear to ear grins.
"What?"
He points.
"What?"
He points again.
"Yeah?"
He picks up a lonely bottle of Jergen's Aloe lotion that someone must have decided they did not want so they left it with the candy and beef jerky.
"Isn't this...."
Joe and Lori.
Sheesh.
Into the cart it went.
So Lori, next time I'm bottom's up, staring at the floor and being rubbed down with aloe lotion I'll think of you, okay?
Thanks....
Could have used it this morning when he took the backscratcher to my rear.
We're having a relaxing weekend. In fact, it's so relaxing that I want to finish this post, update the ticker and then I'm thinking NAP!!!
Have a GREAT weekend!!!
The End of the Story and a Stolen Meme
If you're here to find out which 2 implements I chose and which one Adam chose then you've come to the right place at the right time!!!
Lori wins but I think she cheated. I think either I mentioned it to her in email OR my twin told her. PK denies it, but I'm not convinced.
Anyhow, I chose the tiger maple spatula (the west virginian) and the flogger. Adam? He chose the furry paddle which I am really coming to enjoy for a reason that I'm going to just keep to myself!!!
On to other business... Tracy posted this way cool meme that appealed to my googling nature. I just had to steal it!!
It Was a Weekend . . . . . . .
just like we used to know.
Awesome.
Incredible.
Mind-blowing.
Ever since we got the pup over a year ago we've slacked way off in our spanking and sex life. Seemed to be too much effort to lock him out of the room. Not only that, there was my back pain, upcoming surgery and just so much other life junk in the way.
The surgery finally took place as you know.
After that? I've had no .. I mean NO sex drive. Now, I'm not sure if that's surgery related or other problem related. Either way, I just haven't been interested.
Well here, we are... going on six months out from surgery. My extra weight is nearly gone. I wouldn't mind seeing what it's like to have another 20 pounds off but where I am now is somewhere I've never been so it's quite nice.
Okay wait.
I know that there was a time in my life when I weighed exactly what I weigh now but I would imagine it was a short lived span of time. And I know that it happened well before high school. AND the other medical problems in my life seem to have smoothed out a bit.
So anyhow, it's been little twinges. A twinge here. A twinge there.
It's been enough to make me think "hmmm... perhaps my libido is still there and just needs to wake up."
Last weekend I told you about our OTK episode in the hotel room, yes? Well this most recent weekend brought back old memories. I was up early on Saturday morning and suddenly remembered the days in the past when I'd slip back into bed on a Saturday morning a
nd wake Adam in his most favorite way. I figured it was worth a shot so I stripped down and headed his way.
He slipped his arm around me and said "Where's your clothes, Ethel?"
Okay my name's not really Ethel. Those of you who are older like us might get it. Those of you who don't get it, don't worry about it.
Anyhow, one thing led to another and the crop got a work out just like it used to.
Ahhhhhh..... my friend the crop. He's back.
It was fantastic. Stingy, but fantastic.
Someone recently asked if it hurts worse without the padding of all that extra weight. And you know, I don't know. It hurts for sure and psychologically I could easily claim that yes, it's more painful but truly, I don't know.
Anyhow, then Sunday.... ah, yes. Yesterday. I was still pretty impressed with our return to normalcy from a week ago and then again on Saturday. I wasn't expecting much for Sunday however about 5:00 Adam said "Later you're going to go upstairs and pick three of your favorites and then I'm going to come up and spank you with them."
Okay ladies, spankees, correct me if I'm wrong, but is a statement like that not enough to send your mind reeling right then and there?
I just looked at him and asked, "When?"
Of course I was hoping for a NOW but instead got a 7:00.
Sigh.
Okay.
I'll wait. I knew the anticipation would do me good anyhow.
About 6:15 we were talking about what we wanted for supper. Then Adam said, "Do you want to eat now or do our thing now?"
Duh.
What do you think I said?
I played the rational card and said "Well, I'm not real hungry now but I will be after we are done."
With that he sent me upstairs.
Oh, wait.
Back up the truck.
After telling me I could only pick three he went back on his word and told me that I could just pick two and that he'd pick the third one. I suggested I pick three and he pick the 4th but for whatever reason he wasn't hearing of it so as I went up the stairs we bantered back and forth about how many.
Two.
I only got to pick two.
And boy was that hard!!! I couldn't decide on the crop. If you've read here from the start then you know it's my all time favorite, BUT we just used it the day before and we have so many neglected toys!!!!
It took me forever to decide. Geeze. That was tough!!! I kept yelling down to him and whining about the situation. He just laughed. He laughed at me!!! And each time he'd shout "TWO!"
Sigh.
Finally I made my choices.
"Okay, I'm ready now."
"I'll be up in a little bit."
A little bit? What's THAT supposed to mean? What's wrong with NOW?
Do you have any idea how hot I was getting by this time? I did the only thing I could do. I got out the Hitachi and entertained myself while I waited. When he finally joined me, it was fantabulous!!!
I think my butt's getting back in shape finally.
So let's make a guessing game of this.... I'm going to show you a picture of seven of our implements. Wanna guess which two I ended up picking? And which one did Adam pick?
From left to right we have a lovely feather (okay, I threw that in just for fun), a flogger, the crop, a furry paddle, the tiger maple spatula that Adam calls the West Virginian, one of our two lovely brushes, and a slapper. Tough choice, huh?
Whoever gets it right gets to pick the next three I get spanked with. How's that for a prize?
And PK? You are disqualified cuz you already know. Doesn't always pay to be a detail whore, does it?
Sidenote: Have you all met Joe and Lori yet? Check out their blog. Leave a comment! They'd love to hear from you!
Question on My Mind
I've been having a conversation with someone the past couple days.
Actually I've been having some wonderful conversations with many of you the past couple days! It's fun talking to you in email and getting to know you. It's weird because I feel like you know me pretty well through this blog but I have no idea who YOU are so keep on writing to me!
Anyhow, back to the point. This particular conversation is rather interesting. And it's left me wondering about something.
I am a spanko.
I like it when my husband spanks me. There's no one else in the world though that I would ever care to share this experience with. It's intimate and private between him and I only.
Okay so I advertise it out here for all to see but you know what I mean. Telling you about it and letting you physically witness it is two different things.
The first time I remember the idea of spanking being exciting was when a friend wanted to play school and threatened to "beat my butt" for some minor infraction. I remember the excitement I felt. I was probably six or seven years old at the time. It's been something I've carried with me my whole life. I am a spanko.
Period.
That won't change.
Sure there might be times when it's just not happening in my life but you will never hear me say "I'm not a spanko anymore." Once a spanko, always a spanko... right?
Is it possible to be a spanko then not be a spanko? If a person makes that claim were they ever a spanko to begin with? Could it be that they actually still are but are just in denial?
What's your take on this? Leave me a comment or email me.
What the heck, let's just take a survey too!!
Once a Spanko
Here's my view....
Once a spanko, always a spanko
Once a spanko, NOT always a spanko
Suddenly not a spanko, never was a spanko
Whew - I'm Relieved
Hey everyone!! Because I'm home sick and because the comments are piling up on my most recent post, I'm going to address them here in a new post. Hope you all don't mind!!!
First off, I must say that I am THRILLED with all the emails and comments I've received from all of you but I'm especially happy to have heard from so many people that I'd never heard from before.
I do wish you'd comment more in the future. It sure would help to spice things up around here!!!
The good news is that I'm 99.9% sure I've found the person I'm looking for. Last night I got an email which stated that this person was pretty sure they weren't the one but wanted to say hello anyhow. Then they told me where they live. Yup. They are the one. More good news here is that they have commented a time or two before. This person is a normal everyday lurker who used to show up in my stats as from their own town but now show up as though they are in my town. I know I show up in stats from any one of 4 or 5 towns. The point is that in reality this person did not suddenly appear in my stats and it's NOT someone who knows me personally.
The bottom line is this... at this time there's no need to go private but I have started a folder in my email and have saved all you folks who wrote asking to be added if and when I do so in the future, should that happen, I will gladly add you.
Let me say this about going private... it's never ever about shutting you out but rather shutting out those who might know me in real life. Because of my profession and Adam's for that matter I will go private in a heartbeat if I ever suspect a real life person has found me out. With that said, email me now if you like and I'll save you to my "In case of Private" folder. In the meantime, life will go on as normal around here.
And honest - I'm trying to make a more conscientious effort to post a bit more.
Stat Watching
I watch my stats.
Daily.
Multiple times in a day.
I know you're out there reading but one of you is particularly interesting to me because of your location.
Am I being watched?
Stalked?
Who are you?
Why are you reading my blog?
There's nothing illegal here.
I have a wonderful marriage with my husband and a happy sex life.
Sue me.
But who are you? How did you find me?
Why do you keep coming back?
Even if you think I'm not talking about you, I'd love to hear from you. Drop me an email at evadry3@yahoo.com. Tell me your general location. Tell me why you come here regularly.
I like getting to know people on here anyhow but I'm really curious about YOU.
So please, write.
See, I'm thinking "GO PRIVATE" again. I did it before and I'll do it again. I only wish to hang out with those of you who are in similar situations - happily married and true to your spouse. I'm not out here looking for anything other than that so why am I so paranoid? Why does it bother me to see you in my stats? Do you know who I am? Do I know you? Are you snickering behind my back? Are you going to cause me problems? Or are you just a reader and think I couldn't possibly be talking about you?
If you want me to NOT go private then email me. Set my mind at ease... even if you think I'm not talking about you.
OUCH!!
Who-da thunk it?
Adam made a discovery this morning.
Now I know that he's a very smart man. That's not why it's taken him so long to find this out.
Actually it's been a matter of privacy....or rather lack thereof.
So here we are.... by ourselves for the first time in a long time.....
He says "I want to spank you."
I said, "Ouch!!"
A lot.
I mean he spanked a lot....
AND I said ouch a lot.
Oh, the discovery.
This is new to us and was quite fun.....
No, not the spanking....
Here's what is new:
I fit over his lap quite comfortably for the first time ever in our life.
How cool is that?
My libido did okay through it all.... not great but definitely okay.
Things are looking up!!!
Actually we're in a hotel somewhere outside of our home state.
We had to take our daughter back to school because she broke a bone over the holidays that required surgery and can't drive. I drove our car here while Adam drove hers.
She's in her dorm room. We're in a hotel room.
We're going to church with her this morning and then headed home. Being alone in a hotel room sure does inspire Adam.
He even planned ahead...packed a few things.
Hey Gracie~ I got a back scratcher I'd like to pass on to you!!
The bad news is that this place has more than one full length mirror.
I didn't realize what an unpretty picture weight loss surgery can produce. It's okay though cuz Adam says he loves me anyhow. I believe him. Besides I feel good and I look good with clothes on.
And really, that's all that matters.
Hope you're all having a GREAT weekend!!!
Google Game Answers
Okay... before I tell you what I googled, let's look at yesterday's pics again... here's the first three....
So what did I type into google search???
Scroll down to find out......
Hehehehehe.........
I typed.... "My libido is missing"
Now with that in mind, are the pictures not a hoot? At least the nun one??
Now, think a minute about which of those words I might have changed and what did I change it to??
Take a look at the next three pics......
So what do you think? My libido is missing... which word did I change? and what did I change it to??
Oh, you want to know now.....
Can't you wait until tomorrow??
Oh, alright....
you win...............
I changed "my libido is missing" to "my libido is back!"
Now I'm not saying it is... or that it's not. I was just bored and gooling.
Speaking of google... did you know it's now a verb? Google. Something you do.
Google Game
Do you remember when I used to google some stupid phrase just to see what pictures would come up? And then I'd have you guess what I googled?
It's been a while, huh?
I won't torture you with guessing this time.
I googled a simple phrase. I saved three pictures.
Then I changed just one word and googled again. Saved three images again.
Here's the first three.........
And the next three pictures from when I changed one word in my phrase are here:
So there you have it. Wanna guess? You don't have to but in case you do, I will wait till tomorrow to tell you the phrase I googled and the word I changed.
So how are you? My day was pretty good.
Just a few more days until Adam and I have the house back to ourselves for a few months at least. Can't wait!!!
This is the way to the freedom I've only dreamed of.
These are the wings I was never allowed to try.
Come closer and hear me, there's a world out there to see.
I say this day belongs to me.
This is the day I make lovers and friends of strangers.
My turn to learn about wonderful love and care.
Our love will be gentle, sentimental, spread its wings
This day belongs to you and me. I believe it.
If the stars are in our corner we'll have love and laughter. And love is long overdue.
If you see light in my sympathetic eyes, it's for you. For you, all for you.
This is the door I have waited so long to open.
This is the day when I'm given my room to breathe.
One chance in a lifetime, and my name is on the key.
I say this day belongs to me. I believe it.
If the stars are in my corner I'll have love and laughter.
This day belongs to me.
This and That
2008? Are you kidding me?
How the heck did it get to be 2008?
Time seems to just fly by. I can remember when I thought 1980 was so very far away.
I miss the seventies. There was just something about that time in my life. If you were growing up during that era you might understand what I'm talking about.
Ahhh, but that's not the point today.
Actually I don't even have a point.
Life's good. Work's fine. Adam's good. Sex and spanking are still lacking. We've vowed to try harder once offspring #3 returns to school next week. We really do need to get that part of our life back but I just don't have any libido at all.
Since surgery ... well even before... it seems my hormones are out of whack... not just out of whack but NON-EXISTENT. I keep hoping it's temporary but it doesn't seem to be.
And it's okay I suppose. It's not like I lose sleep over it or anything. I'm sure that one of these days things will return to the way they were. Maybe now that the weight loss is slowing down some. There have been a lot of fast changes this past 6 or so months. I suppose it's no wonder.
There seem to be a number of newbies floating around our here. If that's you, I'm glad you're here. It's cool to see this little community growing.
I updated the ticker... in case you didn't notice, take a look. My goal is within sight. Unbelievable!!
I love the smaller clothes. I love fitting into smaller places... especially when I feel my heart sink and think that there's no way I'll fit. I'm eating lots of normal foods these days... just not much of them but that's okay. When you're full, you're full, right?
Oh, and Debbie asked about the clothes.... over Christmas break I ended up with 4 new pairs of dress pants, 5 or 6 new shirts, a couple new sweaters and a blazer... and two pairs of jeans. Most stuff is size 10. Two of the dress pants were a 12. That doesn't bother me one bit. I started high school in a 16. Since then, there have been two times in my life when I got down to a 14... for a minute or two. But a 12? NEVER!!! A 10? That could NEVER happen... but here it has. Funny thing is, I don't feel small. I still feel HUGE. I laugh at myself when I think I won't fit somewhere then easily pass right through.
Anyhow... Christmas was fun. I got some cool stuff... MP3 player... quesadilla maker... but the best is my new Keurig Coffee maker. If you don't know what that is, google it. It's the most awesome coffee maker ever. I LOVE it and don't know how I lived without it.
So anyhow... happy new year!!
God Bless you all!!!!
