Just For Fun

Your Score: VERY SPANKABLE

You are 73% spankable!

You love being spanked, preferably to a deep rosy hue. You like nothing more than being bent over anything, anywhere, and spanked by a strong hand or maybe a leather paddle. We wouldnt be surprised if you wore those panties with the ruffles on the ass. You are also probably guilty of wiggling the goods at people and bending over suggestively at every opportunity.

Poor Adam

For months Adam has tried everything.

Soft and sweet: "I can't wait to make love to you."

Hard and sexy: "I'm going to spank your ass with whatever I can get my hands on."

Nothing has worked.

Let me explain.

Back in mid May I was hit with the period from hell which lasted six weeks right on through our vacation. It all came to an end finally with a D&C on July 2nd but by then I had my surgery date for my Gastric Bypass so I was a nervous wreck and just not focused on sex and spanking.

It may not appear so but weight loss surgery (WLS) is the most stressful thing I have been through in my life. Some are supportive: "I'm so excited for you!! You're going to do GREAT!!" Others are negative: "Don't you know people DIE from that surgery? I'll be praying that you come to your senses."

It all adds up to two words: Stress. Doubt.

And now, the surgery is behind me. I have never felt better. I still am just not interested in sex and/or spanking though.

Poor Adam.

He's trying not to be cranky but I can see that it's getting to him.

He's trying to be patient but I can see that his patience is wearing thin.

I was almost there a week or so ago. I mean it had been four weeks since surgery and I'm feeling good and it all started to fill my mind again. And then? Yup. Of course. THAT time of the month hit so I put it out of my mind. I hold my breath when that happens now because of the hell I've been through with it. Although a bit long, it was not a nightmare.

Finally yesterday it came to an end and last night?

My libido came back from out of no where. I mean it was like in the movie Ghost when Sam's spirit enters Whoopie Goldberg's body and she lurches. You know what I mean?

And Adam? I figured he would be excited. And you know what? I think he might have been had he been awake.

But there he was - sleeping soundly with his back to me. He's been so tired lately. He puts in a lot of hours at work.

I made two attempts to wake him and he never budged so.....

well......

maybe today??

This morning before he left I told him I'd tried to wake him and he said, "Was that you?"

WAS THAT ME?

Heck yes, it was me.... "who do you THINK it was?"

So anyhow.... my master's program is calling me this afternoon. I have a paper to write. And after that Adam wants me to help him work on a workshop he has to present next weekend. And I would LOVE to go to a festival that's not too far from here.

After that?

Maybe, but I'll have to remember where I put that libido. It's gone as quick as it appeared but I don't think it went too far this time.

This and That

Things are still going well but I only lost 2 1/2 pounds this week. It's normal to have times where the weight comes off slower than others so I'm not concerned or upset by it.

Protein is still a struggle although I have learned that I don't handle the shakes well which have milk in them. I'm tempted to try soy milk.

Calcium is also a struggle. Anyone who takes calcium knows it's a large amount of very large pills every day. I break them in half and have to space them out over the day. Plus I'm still on a few other meds. It takes me forever to get them down in the morning. Then I have to turn around and take a bunch more later in the day. I just can't seem to get all the calcium in.

Vitamins are no problem. Two Flintstones chewables every day. Quit laughing. My coworkers think that's a hoot. They also make fun of my Gerber baby spoons that I use to eat from now.

Eating? That's a problem too. We went out last night and I had eggs for the first time. I got a two egg cheese omelet. I cut it in half. Put half in a box. ate about 2/3 of the other half. Then this morning I thought I'd eat the other half for breakfast.

Couldn't do it. Ate about six pea sized bites and fed the rest to the pup. He loved it. He loves anything.

I feel like my zoloft isn't working. I. Feel. So. BITCHY. I told PK I want to jump down the throat of every mouth that opens. Today in the grocery store, it was early. Not busy. I got in line behind a woman who was being checked out. That was register #4. The lady bagging the groceries said to me, "I'll take you on #6."

Cool. I headed over there only to be CUT OFF by this bitch who flew out of no where.

I bit my tongue. I really wanted to say "excuse me but she said she would help ME, not YOU."

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

I don't like feeling that way. It's not me. Well it is me but I like the me better who says "who cares?" and means it.

It's raining. I want to walk. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Adam had to work this morning. He never works on Saturday. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Offspring #3 is coming home this evening just for a one nighter. She's bringing 4 friends. I'm cooking. Of course though offspring #2 and her husband are coming too. They are probably bringing their good friend with them. I did tell them however to leave their dog at home this time. No way can I handle feeding 10 people AND put up with their dog winding the pup up.

Simple supper. Hotdogs. Hamburgers. Pasta salad. Grilled peaches. Gosh I hope it quits raining so we can cook out. Actually we'll cook out anyhow. I'll just have to hold an umbrella for Adam.

And what will I eat? Gosh, I would kill for a burger with everything on it but that won't be happening. One of the peaches will suit me fine. They are soooooo good.

Tomorrow for Lunch I'm making ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce, and some rolls. I can eat a tiny bit of ribs, beans, and applesauce.

The best part of the week was going back to work. I work with the best people in the world. I'm glad to be back.

A former student was killed in Iraq this week. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Sometimes life sucks. Sometimes life is wonderful.

This week was both.

The Latest Meme

1. What was the first blog that you regularly read?

I don't even remember. Isn't that horrible?

2. Do you remember the first" blogger" that you had an E-Mail Relationship with?

Easy. My twin. It's been one long conversation that's gone on for 14 months now. I hope it never stops!!

3. Why did you create your blog?

Because I wanted somewhere that I could write about whatever I wanted. Spanking and sex aren't even part of it any longer. Mostly I just like the socialization with all of you.

4. When was your first post, and who was your first commenter?

My first post was on July 11, 2006. I didn't get any comments until about my third post. My very first comment came from Cassie!!

5. Are there blogs that you absolutely have to visit daily?

Yes, there are a few. There used to be a lot but to be honest, I've lost interest.

6. Is your Blog categorized?..(I.E. Comedy, Literary, Personal Angst, Etc.)

If it was, it's not anymore. If you noticed, I got rid of my archive only because it was easier than putting every post in draft. It's just not what it used to be.

7. Do you see an end to your blogging some day?

Honestly, I don't know. I think maybe. Yes.

8. What are you wearing right this very minute?

A t-shirt and shorts.

Ticker Tumble

I believe it was our new and improved C.C who coined that phrase - ticker tumble. I like it. Check out above. The ticker has tumbled a few more pounds. (Or will before the day is over)

Wow. It's been almost 3 weeks since surgery. It's going well although I don't see why I can't lose 50 pounds a week. Kidding. I know it takes time and what seems slow to me will appear fast to those around me.

I went in to work yesterday for a brief amount of time. I wanted to deliver all my junk and organize some things so I don't hit the floor running and out of breath come Tuesday. My coworkers were truly shocked by my appearance. In a good way, that is. That many people can't fake that kind of a response, can they?

It felt good to hear it even if it does make me a tad uncomfortable.

It's been a positive week. The surgeon is quite pleased and as I told you is allowing me to return to work a week ahead of schedule. Even better, I've gotten to eat some real food!! Tuna salad, chicken, veggies.

The other day was our anniversary. I already told you about the manicotti but did I tell you that I fit in the booth without any struggle at all? That moment about made me cry. I said to Adam, "look, I can give you this much room" and I pulled the table closer to me leaving him with a huge gap between himself and the table.

So when, I ask you, did this spanking blog turn into a weight loss blog? Actually in an odd sort of way the two go hand in hand. The better I feel, the smaller I get... well, use your imagination for now.

I'm with Grace. Blogroll is making me a happy camper these days. Things are lighting up that have never lit up before. It makes blog reading so much easier and less time consuming.

Speaking of Grace. I wonder if Bossman has clean underwear yet. Did you know that Grace somehow got my real life address (hmmmm...wonder who gave it to her??) and sent me the coolest package when I came home from the hospital. It was all kinds of toys to help pass the time.... there are jacks, and a coloring book and crayons, a spiderman paddleball, some of that slimy GAK stuff, bubbles, and do you know she's so sweet.... she is concerned about me feeling good about myself so she sent the biggest hairbrush I've ever seen in my life.

She and PK must not like the way I do my hair because they both have sent new hairbrushes my way. Both are the big wooden kind. Isn't that sweet of them?

If the ticker hasn't changed from 237.5 check back later. I'll be updating it sometime today.

Have a good weekend and to those of us here in the states, I hope it's a LONG weekend for you!!!
