Eva's Brain

I thought maybe I would give you all a peek into my A.D.D. mind.

Honestly it drives me nuts. The A.D.D. that is. I have a thought. I go to write it down and forget why I'm at the computer so then I play a game and when the thought returns to me, I head for the appropriate software. God help me though if the phone rings or something.

Anyhow, here's the kind of stuff that goes on in my mind......

Y'all are a bunch of DW's (detail whores) and I love everyone of you right down to my toes!!

I didn't realize I was leaving you hanging the other day. I've had numerous comments and emails asking me to fill you all in.

Hmmmm....

And here I thought I was leaving a little to your imagination!

You're much like the kids I teach. Just tell us. Don't make us think. LOL

Okay, okay....

Yes.

I got spanked. And everything else you can imagine with it!! It was a fantastic afternoon. And I've been meaning to blog about it but keep forgetting.

A.D.D., remember?

Anyhow....

Adam's been working a lot of hours this week. It's depressing and kinda lonely. And on top of it, he's being given some major grief by someone who volunteers in his organization. Hopefully that will end very soon.

How do you fire a volunteer anyhow?

This particular person was a very good friend at one time. That makes it harder. It's bad enough when non friend types give ya grief but when someone you thought was one of your inside circle of five good friends does it... well it makes me a bit angry and hurt. I won't tell you what PK said she's going to do to her. Let's just say it has to do with physical harm. Oh, and she said she'd bring the sugar for this person's gas tank.

Oh... sorry.

This is supposed to be a spanking blog, huh?

Okay.

Sure.

Let's talk spanking.

Adam and I own a variety of wooden spoons, belts, a crop (like ya didn't know that), a flogger, a nylon paddle. The crop is a favorite. He's been trying things out such as slippers ever since Cassie posted about her Walmart trips.

Cassie, how much did all that stuff cost anyhow? I am thinking I would really like a bath brush or a back scratcher.... for bathing... and reaching those places on my back that I can't get to unless Adam's here to scratch it for me.

Dowel rod? Noooo thanks! Yowza that would sting. What about a bungee cord though? I'm thinking that wouldn't hurt much. Am I wrong about that?

Isn't Cassie great? She's an imaginative genius!!!

No diet Pepsi. I haven't touched anything carbonated since last Friday. That's a whole week. And PK, that's ummm... you know... pop!! Not soda. Not cokes. POP! Teehee.

I suppose I should go do something productive which means I will probably end up playing some solitaire or looking up some spanking pictures. How many times can you type "spanking" into a search engine before you realize that nothing new is going to come up?

B
efore I go.

I found another fun quiz.... try it. It was fun.

Yowzers.com

Gosh, I'd love to be able to buy these prints, frame them, and hang them up in my house. I found them here.

Something to Blog About

It amazes me. Actually Adam amazes me. There was a time in our life that he would have totally freaked over my having posted so much personal information for all the world to read. And honestly I think that's why I sometimes have trouble relaying details.

There's a part of me that cringes, thinking he will be upset with me so I hold back.
The funny thing is that he is not the man he was then. And then was a long time ago anyhow. So why do I struggle sometimes? It's just part of me, I guess. It's fading though. That feeling of dread I mean.

You see, it's like this... Adam has never not once criticized anything I've written. In fact, I think he likes it because he views my blog as a way of getting me to talk. I'm kind of like PK. Adam has spent his life trying to get me to open up. He sees though that for the most part writing is my outlet so he's content to read what I write here and if there's anything worth discussing, he'll bring it up and we'll talk about it.

I think too that's why we like road trips together so much. For whatever reason that I am yet to understand we communicate freely out on the open road with lots and lots of time on our hands. That wasn't the point. So what is the point? Lately Adam's line to me is "I'm going to give you something to blog about."

Sheesh.

Here I've thought all along that I need to watch what I say so I don't upset him. He never said one negative word about the letter that showed up on Tigg's blog a week or so ago. And yes, I was a bit apprehensive at first.

He used that line - I'm going to give you something to blog about - on me yesterday as he smacked my butt all day but by the time we fell into bed we were exhausted and collapsed into a pretty fast, deep sleep.

Today though he's been saying it again: "I'm going to give you something to blog about."

I'm pretty sure that's exactly his plan when he comes in from doing some yard work. Yes, it's actually quit snowing long enough here where we are able to do some outdoor kind of stuff. In fact the temp is in the upper 70's today. You southerners can stop your bragging. We're catching up to you finally.

Anyhow, I told him I'm not in the mood for something to blog about but I would be if we get the hitachi out. That thing can take me from zero to horny to the big O quicker than anything we've ever played with. I don't understand why you don't own one yet. What are you waiting for? And if you DO happen to own one, how right am I? Is that thing amazing?

So yeah... anyhow, I think I will go to our bedroom now and see how long it takes him to get there. Maybe I am in the mood for something to blog about after all.

Random One Liners

Adam's been smacking my butt all day.

I think I'm in for it tonight.

I'm trying to find a good recumbent bike for a decent price.

I think my butt is going to be feeling like the poor kitty's chin must feel.

I have to give up caffeine and carbonated beverages.

I'm supposed to drink a lot of water.

Does Crystal Light count as water?

I bought a ton of those little on the go thingies and have started drinking them.

They are okay.

I can't do plain water. Ewe.

I would think this counts.

I wonder why blog rolling isn't working again?

Did I tell you Adam's been smacking my rear all day?

Twenty eight more days of school.

I made bbq pulled pork for dinner tonight.

I'm supposed to give up all starch too.

No bread.

No rice.

No potatoes.

Geeze.

I like Bonnie's idea of the
corn hole game better than the real thing.

Don't feel bad Bonnie.

I never heard of it either.

Why would grown adults want to be playing such a game when they could be doing as Bonnie suggested.

I just took a pottie break.

Adam smacked by butt some more when I headed back to the computer.

I said "Owwww" and called him a big meanie.

He said "No, THIS would be a big meanie."

Bet you want to know what he did next.

Yep.

You know it.

He pulled my pants down.

Geeze.

Meanie.

I don't think I can survive without diet pepsi.

There's a baseball game on TV.

Adam is watching it so my butt is safe for a bit.

I'm thinking about getting up before sunrise to see the meteor shower.

Done thinking.

Bad idea.

Uh - oh.

Adam's calling.

Bye.

Oh wait.

One more thing.

A few weeks ago I got a new avatar.

No one has said a word.

It has surprised me that no one has noticed.

Or do you just not like it enough to say anything?

Purses

Last summer.

Remember? Adam and I took the road trip of our lives. It was our first trip since our honeymoon in 1981 alone without kids. It was awesome.

And remember how our nest emptied? Well that's not to be this summer. One little birdie is returning to the nest for the summer. And it's okay.

In the meantime, Adam and I are planning a road trip again. This time we'll be gone even longer. We're planning about 12 days away from home. I can't wait!! But here's the catch and I need your help....

Last summer my family drove me nuts. They are insisting that I buy a new purse. Keep in mind I am not a girly girl. I do NOT need a purse to match every outfit. One sturdy, functional purse is all I need.

But now this year Adam says he's not taking me on the trip till I buy a new purse.

Excuse me? I LOVE the one I have. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. My child says if I set foot in her house with it this summer that she is going to dump it all out and that I'll never see it again. Now I ask you, is that nice? I'm just not feeling the love here.

Anyhow, I'll leave it up to you. (The purse in the picture is NOT it.... it's similar but it's not it).

Purse

Should Eva buy a new purse?

Absolutely
No way!!
Only if she wants one
Even if she doesn't want one

Interesting

I found this at Snow's and since I don't have time to do a "real post" today I thought this might be interesting. Be gentle!!!

Memories

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.
