Nancy - SNN

Today I'm excited to bring you this post by Nancy from her blog SNN's Spanko Diary. Watching the ups and downs she's shared with MG can make you feel like you've got a front row seat in her life.

-Growing Old-

Grow Old

Along with Me

The Best is

Yet to Be!

I am looking forward to many years with MG and growing old with him. I want to love him and comfort him and serve him. I want to laugh with him and celebrate life. I want to mourn with him and hold him tight when life hurts.

We see our parents and know that we will have physical challenges to deal with.
We both have high blood pressure. MG needs eye drops three times a day. His dad is hard of hearing but both his parents are quite hardy and in their 80's. My mom is diabetic and has altheimers (I never can figure out how to spell that word--I know it has a "z" in there somewhere--but where?) . My dad died in his forties of a heart attack or stroke while he was fishing and drowned.

So we know we will have our share of health problems. That lead to a humorous discussion via email.

MG: Here's the ESPN college games for tomorrow - would you want to TIVO (sp?) the game? (all times are Eastern)

SNN: only for you! But you are going to need to call me and remind me. I will forget by tonight.

MG: you? with a mind like a steel trap?

SNN: Too much on my plate to remember everything. If I don't write it down, I forget. And half the time I forget I've got it written somewhere. So when we are old and gray, I will have to drive you around because you can't see and you will have to tell me where we are going because I will forget. But together we can get it done!!!!

MG: YEAH, BABY!!! JUST REMIND ME WHERE TO PUT YOUR BIG BUDDY, BABY!!!

SNN: You are going to have to be the remember-er! I will be the eyes!

MG: If I take after my Dad in the hearing department, you'll have to write it down for me!!

SNN: yes, we will figure it out! And as smart as we both are, we could drive with one of us steering and the other pushing the pedals!

MG: probably you steering - you'll wind up being too short to push the pedals!! hee hee!!

I can just picture us working together to accomplish things that each of us would have trouble with separately. We are quite a picture now with him a full 14 inches taller than I am. Just imagine being old and frail! Ahhhh, now this is LOVE.

Also, you must know that while we were sending these emails back and forth, we simultaneously carry on other conversations. One set of emails was about what he was wearing for the wake. Another was how many hours until we are together again--called T time. He was in such a funny mood when he wrote:

or is it the sum of the cum times the angle of the dangle = the heat of the meat?

My response? We better test those theories-lots!!!!

Each of these are threads of independent conversations and you have to be quick to keep up! We also had separate threads about a charity event and my orgasm post. It truly is amazing either of us gets any work done!!! I'm glad life is more than just work.

#3: History of Spanking Experiences

#3 was the brother of the cousin in Spanking Experience #2... who knows, maybe it was genetic?

Anyway I was 16 and a total brat (not my fault as my parents never punished us - hey, sounds like a good excuse to me)!

We were visiting said cousins 2000 miles from home. "D" (not my husband D but his name started with D, all the same) and I were walking to the store. As my goal in life was to pester all males my age and over until they either paid me back or refused to be seen with me, I began to step off the curb every now and then. This brought no attention, so I began to walk ON the road instead of the sidewalk. This brought only a curious glance. So, I began to walk down the MIDDLE of the road instead the side of the road.

This brought, "Hey, dumbass, what do you think this sidewalk's for?" or something similar to that.

At last! He noticed I was doing something dangerous! Yippee! (I'm pretty sure that these were my exact thoughts at the time.) Of course, I paid no attention whatsoever to him. A car came along, and I thoughtfully moved to one side of the road. The next car came from behind me, and I (again) thoughtfully moved to the other side of the road. This one honked. What fun!

Then I got the bright idea to stand in the middle of the road and wait for a car to come. D must have thought I was crossing the road (the store was on the other side further up) because he made no move or comment when I started across the road (no cars coming). He followed me, I let him pass, and then I stopped right in the middle. It took him a minute to realize I hadn't continued across the road behind him.

I remember the look of astonishment on his face as he turned around to talk to me and saw me still in the road. I was grinning at him and a car was coming around the corner, rather, it was bearing down on me at a rapid pace, and I heard brakes squeal as I sprinted out of the way and onto the safety of the sidewalk again.

Now, in all of my previous experience with doing dangerous things to elicit like responses, no one had EVER responded the way I thought they should. So, it was with complete surprise that I noticed D running toward me. I ran. Can't make it easy on them, can we?

I ran and ran until I was out of breath, finally stopping, panting, in the middle of a grass covered vacant lot. No sooner had I stopped then I was tackled by D. Literally tackled, as in sacking a quarterback. I was taken completely by surprise, but managed to cushion the fall with both forearms (which were bruised for days afterward). He landed on top of me, immediately flipped me over and started smacking my bottom, hard. I was so surprised that I just lay there for a moment, soaking it all in. Then, I decided that I should at least display a token protest (while trying to hide my enormous grin), so I began to struggle. He was much bigger than me, so this didn't deter him by any means, in fact, he began to hit me harder. Then it started to hurt. Even through my denim jeans. So I bit his arm. This didn't stop him, either. In fact, he actually yelled a curse word (whimpy men). Unfortunately, that wasn't his only reaction. Then next one was to jerk my jeans down to my thighs. Eeewww! This was WAY too "kissing cousins" for me, so now I was fighting not to stop the punishment, but to keep him from seeing my brand-new purple bikini panties! (Every time I wore those for years afterward, this memory always came to mind - think Pavlov.)

I think I yelled "pervert" at him a bit too loud, because he was now whaling the tar out of me, to put it in a nice, southern expression. This produced a lot more curse words out of me, but did nothing to stop him. Although the pain really wasn't beyond my tolerance level, I was ready to do anything to cover up my exposed panties, so I started apologizing. Then I begged. Then I started crying. When he finally let me up, tears were streaming down my face as I tugged my jeans back up and glanced up at the road. Several people were standing on the sidewalk about a hundred feet away, staring at us. I did the only thing I could do. I took off running toward grandma's house.

I gave D dirty looks for the next few days, and every time, he'd just raise his hand, palm side forward. I'd stick out my tongue at him and go the other way. By the end of the week, though, we were friends again. The only reason I never goaded him into spanking me again, was the thought of him seeing my entire wardrobe of underwear. Now, why couldn't this have been a boyfriend spanking me?

We're Leaving

Red Alert
PK here. I just slipped in to see what Eva packed and you won’t believe it! They have gone to supper and I want to get out quick so I’ll tell you over at my place tomorrow. Anyway I stashed some extra party supplies in the basement so there will be plenty to drink!

Our bags are packed. The last minute details have been taken care of or will be by the time our heads hit the pillows tonight.

We are leaving at the butt-crack of dawn tomorrow morning. Adam says we're leaving at 4:00 AM but even in my early bird world there's no such thing.

I know that I will have lots of blogging material when we return
but in the meantime in order to keep Nothing Random updated and fresh (no one likes a smelly old blog) I have gotten permission from a few blogger friends to dig around in their archives and post some of my all time favorites that they have written. This will not only give you an opportunity to read what I think is the best of the best but it will give you some insight into what - exactly - I like to read in my spare time.

I know many of them are anxious to see what I will pick of their writings to post so this should be a fun time for all of us. Check back each day. I anticipate Internet access most days and the posts will be ready to go before I leave so that I can easily and quickly post them. We leave EARLY tomorrow morning so I will post the first one then.
In the meantime, NO PARTIES while I'm gone!! That means you, Grace! You too, Twin or else we will have a CHAT when I get to your house!!!

I will be having a blast, touring the country and checking out toy stores along the way. Surely we can find SOMETHING new to play with which in turn will provide something new to blog about!!
See you when I get back and in the meantime, I hope you enjoy these awesome reruns!!

America, the Beautiful

This was emailed to me by a friend. The video is done by a 15 year old girl by the name of Lizzie Palmer. When I saw it, I thought of all of you and our freedom to get on our computers and talk about what we want to talk about. That's when it hit me, I want you to see this, too.

I wish I could say "Enjoy!" However there's really nothing all that enjoyable about war.

I love you all and the freedom we are able to share.

And for those of you who might be interested in that whole buried car story that I'm so excited about this week, I just got this email....

Only 4 days away until the Belvedere sees the light of day!

If you cannot be with us you can still watch live. At noon central time it will stream live on oklatravelnet.com and at 7 p.m. on kotv.com - both sites archive their shows so you can watch over and over!

We are at capacity for the Unearthing and sold out for the Unveiling! Over 200 media from 11 countries will cover the event, so watch for coverage in your local area.

Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm for Tulsarama! Please keep your fingers crossed for us that she will be a beauty queen!

A Depressing Rant

**ALERT**

Whiny post alert. It's okay if you want to go somewhere happier. In fact, my twin has a heck of a post up. Go there. I won't be offended.

Don't try to tell me that it's all in my head. It's not. I know it's not. Telling me that will not change truth. It doesn't even hurt anymore.

I started out as always being the tallest, skinniest in the class.

That didn't last long though because puberty happened. I filled out, up, etc. It wasn't a pretty picture. It was an awkward time. Funny thing is, that awkward puberty feeling has never really left me. I've always felt like I'm a half a bubble off from the rest of the women in the world.

It goes beyond just not being a girly girl. I'm not wired like most women. I teach math, for crying out loud. I'm wired logically. I like things cut and dried, black and white. I hate to shop. I don't wear makeup. I haven't had a dress on in ages. Oh, I did wear one a year ago to my daughter's wedding.

So anyhow, this whole weight thing has been a struggle all my life. It's not the weight I mind half as much as how people respond to me. Again, please don't tell me I'm imagining things. I'm not.

See, I've seen it both ways.... from both angles. There is a definite difference in how people respond to me when my weight is down compared to when it's been up. For most of my adult life it's been up but there have been a couple times when I managed to get it down.

Do people think a fat person just won't notice that they are being treated differently than a skinny person? For a long time I thought people were just bitchy or maybe having an off day. Then one time Adam and I were in a clothing store where the sales lady, not knowing he and I were together, was sweet as pie to him while being rude toward me. I couldn't get her to help me but she sure was helping Adam.

When it dawned on her that he and I were together she looked down her nose at me. I didn't imagine it. Do these people think us fat people don't have feelings? Don't have eyes? Do they think we honestly don't see what's going on?

I'm lucky. Adam has told me all our marriage that he doesn't care what I weigh, that he loves me. That's a lie though because he does care. I see it. It's not all bad though because what I see is a man who loves me and wants me happy but even more important he wants my back to quit hurting me to the point of tears. He wants my feet to quit hurting. I honestly believe him when he says that it doesn't matter. I know the reasons it does matter are not selfish reasons. It matters to him because he hates seeing me so miserable. It's for the unselfish reasons that it matters to him.

I feel safe with him. I don't like going places without him. I'm happiest when he and I are home alone. I really don't like to go out much. I feel the eyes watching. I see the looks. I hear the comments. It's NOT in my head. I am NOT imagining it.

Do they think fat people don't have ears? Did the waitress at the pancake house this morning think I couldn't hear the words she spoke to the hostess who was about to seat us? Did she think it wouldn't hurt?

Fat people apparently have no rights. They have no feelings. They don't have the same senses of sight, hearing, etc that others more "normal" people have.

She stopped the hostess and said "never gonna fit."

I couldn't hear what the hostess said back to her but she changed the plans to take us to the back booth to a smaller table.

Fat people don't get the same sensitivity that someone with other issues gets. I see it. I hear it. It's not in my head.

Do they not know? Do they not know that we hear? We feel? We bleed? Just like the next woman we fat girls do all those things.

Do they care that my weight problems come from a variety of issues? Back problems which stop me from exercising? A thyroid condition that calls for 1.75 mg of synthroid every day? We got word a week ago that my insurance company has determined my weight issues are NOT from dietary problems but rather from medical issues. Therefore, they have approved me for gastric bypass surgery without the drudgery of going through six months of dietary counseling. There's still some hoops to jump through over the next couple months and no, we haven't set the date yet. And I'm hoping that my other issues don't throw a wrench into the plans and slow us down.

It's not in my head. Ask any overweight person. They'll tell you the same thing. I thank God through for Adam who loves me always for who I am. And I'm thankful for the friends who have stuck by me. But it's not in my head. I have ears. I know what I heard. I don't know if Adam heard her. I just sat with my face in the menu till I knew I wasn't going to cry. If he did hear it, I'm sure he didn't mention it because he knew it would make me cry. His philosophy is "hang in there babe, it's going to be okay."

That hope and my love for Adam is about all that keeps me going these days. Oh, and the little pup who is laying here sleeping beside me right now. He makes me happy, too.

Beds, Trips, Dreams

I've done my homework. More than likely my issues that I wrote about yesterday are from a lack of one of my very important meds for two months because the people who work for my doctor - to quote PK - are assholes. It's a long story and I've probably already told it on here and if I haven't it's okay. Just know that I went two months without an important drug because some people weren't doing their jobs.

Guess what we got today? A new mattress for our bed. New bedroom furniture is coming next month. It's currently on back order. Anyhow, the new mattress is QUIET.

The third offspring hates air conditioning so she keeps her bedroom door closed and the vent closed. I'm thinking if we're really quiet she won't hear our nocturnal activities. We can save the noisy stuff for when she's out of the house. Between our new quiet bed and her fan running..........hmmmmm....

We leave for our vacation in one week. PK and I will meet face to face soon. How cool is that? Now y'all know that PK and I are both private people who both believe firmly in the bonds of marriage and would never ever in a million years step outside those bonds, right? And I'm sure those of you who know us best know that there won't be any group spanking stories to tell. Sorry if that's a disappointment to anyone but that's just not our thing.

You will get to hear stories of us going out to dinner, sitting by the pool, and other such things. And yes, I'll hopefully have some stories to tell like last year's vacation, I'm sure.

PK and I have talked about that... about y'all thinking we might be getting together to ummm... do things. I said to her "You don't think they think that we ..... "
We answered in unison: "Nah." I am excited to meet her and Nick. And I'll be sure to tell her that you all said hello.

Shifting gears....

Here's a story I've been following for about 3 years now and am very excited about. Have you heard about the car which is buried in Tulsa Oklahoma? I think it's the coolest thing ever. Here's a link to the story. Go read it and do some research of your own.

I find this absolutely fascinating.
I think it will be the coolest thing ever if it's in really good shape. I'd love to be there when they dig it up.

Shifting gears again....

Adam's still been taking a crack at my rear when opportunity sits down in front of him. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. These women who get their warm fuzzies from dining out, flowers, candy, etc are missing the big picture that I see clearly. I'm wanting my medical issues resolved so that he can do this properly....
Ain't nuttin' better than strong arms pulling one's pants down to the knees and going at it. Does anything say I love you better than a blistered behind?

Sigh........

Shifting gears again... and then I'll quit....

I had a dream last night. I told Adam about it when I got up this morning.

Adam, a dog (not our pup), and myself were swimming....

In the sky...

We were swimming in the sky.

We were leaving the car parked somewhere and then swimming in the air. I told him we had to keep swimming or we'd fall out of the sky.

Of course he did his best Dorey imitation. Just keep swimming... just keep swimming...

Then there was this ultra lite plane flying around us. It was red and decorated like a race car. There was a little old man flying it. He was ticked.
I had to keep swimming in the air while I tried to talk to him. I wanted to know why he was so mad. Apparently he kept swooping down low to the ground but no one would give him a banana.

After Adam was done laughing at me and asking questions about the details of the dream (we take each other's dreams very seriously ... yeah. Right) he then asks "Have you been playing computer games again?"

Okay I guess you had to be there. It was funny. Then again, Adam and I often make our own humor that no one else in the world would find funny. That's what makes us... well... us.

Okay. I promised to quit so I will.

Bye y'all. (I'm practicing)

Girl Talk

You men among us might not be real interested in today's post. I'm not offended if you want to leave now. In fact, I'd be relieved.

First off, like my new look? I pretty much ventured out on my own. I did have to enlist CeeCi's help to get the baby kitties back up there in the address bar but I did the rest all by my little lonesome self. There's a few things I am not sure I like but there's time to tweak it as I go. I like blue. I REALLY like blue.

Anyhow, I went to the doctor today. That's not really all that unusual. I go to the doctor every three months for blood work and stuff. I'm on a list of drugs a mile long for all the normal overweight stuff such as diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

Anyhow, the doctor visit was interestingly timed. A while back I mentioned that I might be having gastric bypass surgery. Remember? Well one of the requirements is a current PAP test amongst other things. And at the same time I missed about 5 straight months of the monthly fun. That broke my heart.

A little more than three weeks ago it returned ... with a freakin' vengeance. I've never experienced anything like this but have been chalking it up to the onset of menopause. So anyhow upon hearing all this and seeing as my last PAP was oh, about thirteen years ago the doctor decides to not just do a pap but an ultrasound, too.

She says that the lining of my uterus is four times it's normal thickness. So what's this mean? Well, she's sending a sample out for a biopsy. I go back in a week. What's she expecting to find? Worried? I suppose I am a bit. Who wouldn't be?

Anyhow, somehow just writing about it makes it seem... not so scary. Think good thoughts. No horror stories about your aunt's friend's daughter who died of cancer. Encouragement of course is more than welcome though.

So how does this affect our vacation? Hopefully it won't. It won't. It just won't.

Okay... men.... you can come back now.
