Who-da thunk it?
Adam made a discovery this morning.
Now I know that he's a very smart man. That's not why it's taken him so long to find this out.
Actually it's been a matter of privacy....or rather lack thereof.
So here we are.... by ourselves for the first time in a long time.....
He says "I want to spank you."
I said, "Ouch!!"
A lot.
I mean he spanked a lot....
AND I said ouch a lot.
Oh, the discovery.
This is new to us and was quite fun.....
No, not the spanking....
Here's what is new:
I fit over his lap quite comfortably for the first time ever in our life.
How cool is that?
My libido did okay through it all.... not great but definitely okay.
Things are looking up!!!
Actually we're in a hotel somewhere outside of our home state.
We had to take our daughter back to school because she broke a bone over the holidays that required surgery and can't drive. I drove our car here while Adam drove hers.
She's in her dorm room. We're in a hotel room.
We're going to church with her this morning and then headed home. Being alone in a hotel room sure does inspire Adam. He even planned ahead...packed a few things.
Hey Gracie~ I got a back scratcher I'd like to pass on to you!!
The bad news is that this place has more than one full length mirror.
I didn't realize what an unpretty picture weight loss surgery can produce. It's okay though cuz Adam says he loves me anyhow. I believe him. Besides I feel good and I look good with clothes on.
And really, that's all that matters.
Hope you're all having a GREAT weekend!!!

Happy Birthday C.C
I just love memes. For one thing, it gives me a post when I normally wouldn't have much to say and for another thing, I like reading others' responses when they steal it too!!

This is the way to the freedom I've only dreamed of.
These are the wings I was never allowed to try.
Come closer and hear me, there's a world out there to see.
I say this day belongs to me.
This is the day I make lovers and friends of strangers.
My turn to learn about wonderful love and care.
Our love will be gentle, sentimental, spread its wings
This day belongs to you and me. I believe it.
If the stars are in our corner we'll have love and laughter. And love is long overdue.
If you see light in my sympathetic eyes, it's for you. For you, all for you.
This is the door I have waited so long to open.
This is the day when I'm given my room to breathe.
One chance in a lifetime, and my name is on the key.
I say this day belongs to me. I believe it.
If the stars are in my corner I'll have love and laughter.
This day belongs to me.
2008? Are you kidding me?
How the heck did it get to be 2008?
Time seems to just fly by. I can remember when I thought 1980 was so very far away.
I miss the seventies. There was just something about that time in my life. If you were growing up during that era you might understand what I'm talking about.
Ahhh, but that's not the point today.
Actually I don't even have a point.
Life's good. Work's fine. Adam's good. Sex and spanking are still lacking. We've vowed to try harder once offspring #3 returns to school next week. We really do need to get that part of our life back but I just don't have any libido at all.
Since surgery ... well even before... it seems my hormones are out of whack... not just out of whack but NON-EXISTENT. I keep hoping it's temporary but it doesn't seem to be.
And it's okay I suppose. It's not like I lose sleep over it or anything. I'm sure that one of these days things will return to the way they were. Maybe now that the weight loss is slowing down some. There have been a lot of fast changes this past 6 or so months. I suppose it's no wonder.
There seem to be a number of newbies floating around our here. If that's you, I'm glad you're here. It's cool to see this little community growing.
I updated the ticker... in case you didn't notice, take a look. My goal is within sight. Unbelievable!!
I love the smaller clothes. I love fitting into smaller places... especially when I feel my heart sink and think that there's no way I'll fit. I'm eating lots of normal foods these days... just not much of them but that's okay. When you're full, you're full, right?
Oh, and Debbie asked about the clothes.... over Christmas break I ended up with 4 new pairs of dress pants, 5 or 6 new shirts, a couple new sweaters and a blazer... and two pairs of jeans. Most stuff is size 10. Two of the dress pants were a 12. That doesn't bother me one bit. I started high school in a 16. Since then, there have been two times in my life when I got down to a 14... for a minute or two. But a 12? NEVER!!! A 10? That could NEVER happen... but here it has. Funny thing is, I don't feel small. I still feel HUGE. I laugh at myself when I think I won't fit somewhere then easily pass right through.
Anyhow... Christmas was fun. I got some cool stuff... MP3 player... quesadilla maker... but the best is my new Keurig Coffee maker. If you don't know what that is, google it. It's the most awesome coffee maker ever. I LOVE it and don't know how I lived without it.
So anyhow... happy new year!!
God Bless you all!!!!
