PK

I definitely could NEVER do a series such as this without sharing my twin with you. The problem was narrowing it down to a favorite post. I chose this one because it's all about what marriage was meant to be.

Enjoy!!

Trust

Nick and I have an extremely laid back relationship. I don’t know if issues of trust or jealously have ever come up. We married a little late and I think we both knew what we were looking for and we knew we had found it. I know we are together because we want to be. I suppose if one of us had wanted something else we wouldn’t still be here together.

An incident that happened several years ago shows our trust. I came home from work one day; Nick was already here stretched out on the couch. I settled down to read the news paper when Nick said casually “Do you have anything you want to tell me?” I looked over at him because it seemed like a strange question. He just looked back and waited. I couldn’t think of a thing I needed to tell him so I said “Nope, nothing new.” So he asked again “You sure you haven’t got anything important to tell me?”

Now when it comes to Nick and my marriage my conscience is a pure as the driven snow. So I asked “What in the world are you talking about?” Nick laughed and said “I got a call earlier from a representative of the Jerry Springer show. He told me that my wife had something important to tell me but that she wanted to do it on the show. The man said that the show would fly us all expense paid so that you can tell me whatever it is.”

I was totally dumbfounded! “So what did you tell him?”

“I told him I wasn’t interested in being on the show, which seemed to confuse the guy. He said, but sir you don’t understand we will fly you both here free.” Nick told him again no thanks. We really weren’t interested. The guy tried one more time. “Sir this means a lot to your wife, she wants to tell you something very important!” Nick’s response was “Well then I’m sure she will tell me. Thanks for calling by.”

I sat there amazed at this story. I asked “Did you get his number?? We have to call him back!”

“Why?”

“How else are we going to find out what I want to tell you?!”

We had a good laugh over the call. We never did find out if it was for real, if someone got the wrong number or if it was one of Nick’s friends, some of whom were, and are, capable of a good practical joke!

But I have thought a lot about that call over the years. I know some husbands would not have been as calm as Nick, as quick to brush it off. It could have caused some real problems in some marriages. I love what it says about our relationship, the fact that he utterly dismissed the possibility that I had anything negative or important that I was keeping from him.

Okay, I was keeping from him my desire to be spanked but that was something I kept hidden from everyone in the world and at that time I planned on taking that information to the grave with me so that doesn’t count!

I have a good guy folks – I hope everyone gets this lucky!

And one more very very, very important thing!!!!!!

CeeCi

If I had to describe our friend CeeCi using just one word, without a doubt "beautiful" would be it. Everything about her is beautiful. Her blog. Her writing. Her hopes, dreams, fears. Beautiful. All of it. All of her. Picking a favorite from her blog was not easy. I finally settled on this one because this depicts her relationship with MoJo in the most beautiful way.

Singing In The Rain

...or the night I knew I was in love.

So far this year, it has rained 18 days. No, not continuously, but of the 20 days that have passed, 18 of them have included rain. Guess what it's doing right now...that's right...it's raining.

Looking out the window, I wondered what I might have to write about this morning. I've decided to write about the night I knew I was in love. It was raining that night too.

MoJo invited me to share Sunday dinner with him and his mom. Afterwards, we would go to a movie. I was touched, as this was the first time I would be meeting his (as he calls her) Dear, Sainted Mother.

MoJo's mom is really cool. She's very outspoken in her political views and I had fun listening as the two of them discussed everything the current administration is fouling up. She has a dog who dotes on her and a couple of rather spoiled cats, although not nearly as spoiled as the dog. Meeting her was easy as she is gracious and liked me as much as I liked her.

Dinner was good and after, we went to see "Good Night and Good Luck". We all enjoyed the movie. MoJo and his mom have discovered that going to the last showing on a Sunday night ensures there will be many seats to choose from, and not many people in the audience. With MoJo's pain problems, this works best for them, and now me, too.

Anyway, after we arrived back at Mama MoJo's house, it was late and time to say our farewells. I told her how much I had enjoyed dinner and meeting her. We agreed we would repeat our evening in the future.

MoJo and I made our way to my car, which was parked in the street. The rain was still coming down hard, so MoJo carried my umbrella to shield us both from the downpour. He ushered me into the driver's seat and instructed me to turn the car around.

MoJo is a big man. He stands nearly 6'3", and weighs over 300 pounds. That night he was dressed in jeans and had on his black leather coat. He has black hair and a black (well, mostly) beard. His eyes are dark, and his looks are powerful. I guess what I'm trying to convey is that to strangers, he can be intimidating. I, however, know better.

I pulled my car into a neighboring driveway and then backed up. As the headlights swept the street ahead of me, MoJo was caught in their beams. What I saw made me giggle with delight. There he was, swinging my umbrella, impersonating Gene Kelly. The smile on his face was dazzling as he did his best to dance with some semblance of flair. I sat there watching him, reveling in his delight as he stomped and splashed in the puddles on the street. Suddenly, I realized there were tears rolling down my cheeks. There he was, the man of my dreams, shuffling in the rain because he was as happy as me. I knew right then and there, I've found the love of my life.

Pity Party Results

"Welcome back. This is Jane Rush with CNN. Strange happenings this morning in a small town in Georgia. We now take you to John Jones with a live update. Go ahead John."

"Thanks Jane. Here is the latest from Somewhere, Georgia. About 6 am this morning, Eastern Standard time a woman, with long red hair, wearing a fuzzy pink bathrobe climbed to the top of the air traffic controller tower. The tower at this small community airport has not been in use for years. She is hold up in there and says she has hostages. She also claims to have a voodoo doll. She states she is not afraid to use it. She further states she is not coming down until someone gives her a job. She also claims to be on a water strike."

"Her brother, the manager of the airport has made several attempts to speak with his sister, but she refuses. Her comments were 'I don't trust him. I never have. Ever since 1966 when he told me Santa Claus was killed in a plane crash."

Workers from the airport caught a glimpse of the woman climbing the tower this morning and said it looked as if she had two cats.

One mechanic interviewed stated," Weeell ya know them looked liked cats, but it was mighty gosh darn hard to tell anything with that pink fuzzy housecoat she wers wearin."

"The woman claims she will kill the hostages, if anyone tries to approach the tower. He brother states this is merely a bluff, she is a cat person. However the Humane Society is on the scene and concerned. They have convinced officials to take the threats seriously for now, until their hostage negotiator arrives from Wildlife Images Rehabilitation Center in Oregon. Requests to send up cat chow, have not yet been acknowledged my this mysterious tower woman."

"Her son is also on the scene. He has in his possession a note his mother left behind. There are concerns that this might be a suicide note of sorts."

Dear Michael

There is a double batch of your favorite chicken noodle casserole in the fridge. There is also a couple of individually wrapped pasta and cheese snacks. In the freezer there is a lasagna. Also there are 5 one pound individually wrapped packages of ground beef already cooked with garlic and onions. All you have to do is thaw and follow the directions on the Hamburger Helper label, then add extra cheese. Oh and we are out of onions. I tried to prepare for you since I don't know how long before my demands will be met, or actually what the outcome of this situation will be. In case it all works out please use the paper plates and cups, since we don't have a dishwasher. Please remember how much I love you, and please, please brush your teeth. I cannot stress this enough.

I love you
Mom

"Wait, this just came in....athorities have searched the tower woman's home. They stated it looked as if she was packing to move, the entire house is pink except for the boys room. But the place is in a total state of disarray. The Board of Health has been contacted."

The commentator pauses.."It seems local police have found some rather disturbing articles in the tower woman's bedroom. A vast assortment of paddles and hairbrushes, along with what appears to be several anal toys...they too are all pink. They have also checked out her computer, seems she belonged to some sordid spanking blog club. They are afraid she may have co conspirators around the world."

"Seems her last blog post addressed each of her co conspirators by name. This post also had undertones of a possible devastaing ending to this situation. I am being allowed by authorities to read it over the air. It is the hope that someone on this list will come forward, and help put and end to this madness."

Ceeci please always keep up Gratitude Tuesday. You are such a special gal, I can't begin to describe you.
Paul sorry I never got that hug, or got to share eggs and onions with you.
Tiggr keep bouncing girl and keep coming up with great games. You're the best.
Kayley please try to quit smoking. I love you girl.
Elis keep relying on Nick to do the voting for you. I have had so many wonderful laughs with you.
Eva maybe you were right about the diet coke. You kept me laughing girl. Don't pick on Elis too much.
Cassie just when you get back and it all falls apart. I love ya girl. Remember no tatoos.
SuzQ my twin. Enjoy your new love, and please consider a seat belt for the wheelchair.
Patty whatever you do don't ever stop drawing. You inspired me to delurk.
Doc keep up with the monologues.
Dante if you ever catch Tiggr by the tail, don't let go. She needs you.
Grace what can I say, you are the wisest woman I know. You made laundry special and I think I speak for all of us.
Padme and Anakin I wish you both the best and hope you continue to have the hottest BDSM sex life I ever had the pleasure of reading about.
Anne Elizabeth you are the sweetest person I know. Promise me you will tell him, let him shave you, and watch.
Master Fitz and Brat enjoy your exploration and keep blogging. Peace!
Cop Mike if you read this...it ain't real sexy, I know...but keep the streets safe! We love you.
Bonnie you are an inspiration to bloggers. Sorry doubt I will make brunch on Sunday.

I love you all. You have truly enriched my life. OK Group HUG!

"Another interesting result of the search all of the pins and needles are missing from the woman's sewing kit. This apparently has the Catholic Church up in arms, and they are requesting an opportunity to plead with the woman."

"Earlier attempts to contact her boyfriend, who apparently lives 5 hours away in Elsewhere, Georgia, did not provide anything helpful. He said something to the affect of 'when I get a hold of her fanny'....and then hung up the phone."

"Oh oh the woman has just answered her cell phone. We'll pause for this commercial break and return shortly with more updates on "The Mysterious Tower Woman."

"Welcome back to CNN. I am Jane Rush. Let's go back live to John Jones and the scene at this small community airport in Somewhere, Georgia."

"John?"

"Thanks Jane. A recap early this morning a rather sexually twisted, red-haired woman, in a fuzzy pink bathrobe, carrying two cats as hostages, climbed the air traffic tower at this small community airport. She is armed with a voodoo doll and an undetermined amount of needles and pins."

"Her son was questioned regarding the pins and needles, but he stated, and I quote." " She never sewed anything for me. I didn't know she knew how to sew."

"It is a tense day here in Georgia. Fall has blown in with a few showers, and the weather as well as the atmosphere is chilly. As we speak the woman is on the phone with authorities. I also have heard that an FBI profiler has been called in due to the concerns over the sexual implements discovered in her home and the threat of black magic."

"From what I understand she just wants her drug screen results released. The only drugs authorities claimed to have recovered from the home were birth control pills, and Midol. Wait Wait, she is screaming! She is running around the tower screaming."

The authorities think she is saying, "Spider spider...get it, get it, Izy Buzy, get it! But we can't be certain, she is breaking up. Ahh apparently the connection has been lost."

"What possible satanic black magic ritual could she be up to? And what is this mysterious Izy Buzy black magic chant?"

"Well back to you Jane."

"Interesting situation in Georgia this morning. Please stayed tuned to CNN and we will keep you updated, on the bizarre sexually twisted, unemployed, pink tower woman. Cat lover or twisted black magic exploiter of cats?"

Nancy - SNN

Today I'm excited to bring you this post by Nancy from her blog SNN's Spanko Diary. Watching the ups and downs she's shared with MG can make you feel like you've got a front row seat in her life.

-Growing Old-

Grow Old

Along with Me

The Best is

Yet to Be!

I am looking forward to many years with MG and growing old with him. I want to love him and comfort him and serve him. I want to laugh with him and celebrate life. I want to mourn with him and hold him tight when life hurts.

We see our parents and know that we will have physical challenges to deal with.
We both have high blood pressure. MG needs eye drops three times a day. His dad is hard of hearing but both his parents are quite hardy and in their 80's. My mom is diabetic and has altheimers (I never can figure out how to spell that word--I know it has a "z" in there somewhere--but where?) . My dad died in his forties of a heart attack or stroke while he was fishing and drowned.

So we know we will have our share of health problems. That lead to a humorous discussion via email.

MG: Here's the ESPN college games for tomorrow - would you want to TIVO (sp?) the game? (all times are Eastern)

SNN: only for you! But you are going to need to call me and remind me. I will forget by tonight.

MG: you? with a mind like a steel trap?

SNN: Too much on my plate to remember everything. If I don't write it down, I forget. And half the time I forget I've got it written somewhere. So when we are old and gray, I will have to drive you around because you can't see and you will have to tell me where we are going because I will forget. But together we can get it done!!!!

MG: YEAH, BABY!!! JUST REMIND ME WHERE TO PUT YOUR BIG BUDDY, BABY!!!

SNN: You are going to have to be the remember-er! I will be the eyes!

MG: If I take after my Dad in the hearing department, you'll have to write it down for me!!

SNN: yes, we will figure it out! And as smart as we both are, we could drive with one of us steering and the other pushing the pedals!

MG: probably you steering - you'll wind up being too short to push the pedals!! hee hee!!

I can just picture us working together to accomplish things that each of us would have trouble with separately. We are quite a picture now with him a full 14 inches taller than I am. Just imagine being old and frail! Ahhhh, now this is LOVE.

Also, you must know that while we were sending these emails back and forth, we simultaneously carry on other conversations. One set of emails was about what he was wearing for the wake. Another was how many hours until we are together again--called T time. He was in such a funny mood when he wrote:

or is it the sum of the cum times the angle of the dangle = the heat of the meat?

My response? We better test those theories-lots!!!!

Each of these are threads of independent conversations and you have to be quick to keep up! We also had separate threads about a charity event and my orgasm post. It truly is amazing either of us gets any work done!!! I'm glad life is more than just work.

#3: History of Spanking Experiences

#3 was the brother of the cousin in Spanking Experience #2... who knows, maybe it was genetic?

Anyway I was 16 and a total brat (not my fault as my parents never punished us - hey, sounds like a good excuse to me)!

We were visiting said cousins 2000 miles from home. "D" (not my husband D but his name started with D, all the same) and I were walking to the store. As my goal in life was to pester all males my age and over until they either paid me back or refused to be seen with me, I began to step off the curb every now and then. This brought no attention, so I began to walk ON the road instead of the sidewalk. This brought only a curious glance. So, I began to walk down the MIDDLE of the road instead the side of the road.

This brought, "Hey, dumbass, what do you think this sidewalk's for?" or something similar to that.

At last! He noticed I was doing something dangerous! Yippee! (I'm pretty sure that these were my exact thoughts at the time.) Of course, I paid no attention whatsoever to him. A car came along, and I thoughtfully moved to one side of the road. The next car came from behind me, and I (again) thoughtfully moved to the other side of the road. This one honked. What fun!

Then I got the bright idea to stand in the middle of the road and wait for a car to come. D must have thought I was crossing the road (the store was on the other side further up) because he made no move or comment when I started across the road (no cars coming). He followed me, I let him pass, and then I stopped right in the middle. It took him a minute to realize I hadn't continued across the road behind him.

I remember the look of astonishment on his face as he turned around to talk to me and saw me still in the road. I was grinning at him and a car was coming around the corner, rather, it was bearing down on me at a rapid pace, and I heard brakes squeal as I sprinted out of the way and onto the safety of the sidewalk again.

Now, in all of my previous experience with doing dangerous things to elicit like responses, no one had EVER responded the way I thought they should. So, it was with complete surprise that I noticed D running toward me. I ran. Can't make it easy on them, can we?

I ran and ran until I was out of breath, finally stopping, panting, in the middle of a grass covered vacant lot. No sooner had I stopped then I was tackled by D. Literally tackled, as in sacking a quarterback. I was taken completely by surprise, but managed to cushion the fall with both forearms (which were bruised for days afterward). He landed on top of me, immediately flipped me over and started smacking my bottom, hard. I was so surprised that I just lay there for a moment, soaking it all in. Then, I decided that I should at least display a token protest (while trying to hide my enormous grin), so I began to struggle. He was much bigger than me, so this didn't deter him by any means, in fact, he began to hit me harder. Then it started to hurt. Even through my denim jeans. So I bit his arm. This didn't stop him, either. In fact, he actually yelled a curse word (whimpy men). Unfortunately, that wasn't his only reaction. Then next one was to jerk my jeans down to my thighs. Eeewww! This was WAY too "kissing cousins" for me, so now I was fighting not to stop the punishment, but to keep him from seeing my brand-new purple bikini panties! (Every time I wore those for years afterward, this memory always came to mind - think Pavlov.)

I think I yelled "pervert" at him a bit too loud, because he was now whaling the tar out of me, to put it in a nice, southern expression. This produced a lot more curse words out of me, but did nothing to stop him. Although the pain really wasn't beyond my tolerance level, I was ready to do anything to cover up my exposed panties, so I started apologizing. Then I begged. Then I started crying. When he finally let me up, tears were streaming down my face as I tugged my jeans back up and glanced up at the road. Several people were standing on the sidewalk about a hundred feet away, staring at us. I did the only thing I could do. I took off running toward grandma's house.

I gave D dirty looks for the next few days, and every time, he'd just raise his hand, palm side forward. I'd stick out my tongue at him and go the other way. By the end of the week, though, we were friends again. The only reason I never goaded him into spanking me again, was the thought of him seeing my entire wardrobe of underwear. Now, why couldn't this have been a boyfriend spanking me?

We're Leaving

Red Alert
PK here. I just slipped in to see what Eva packed and you won’t believe it! They have gone to supper and I want to get out quick so I’ll tell you over at my place tomorrow. Anyway I stashed some extra party supplies in the basement so there will be plenty to drink!

Our bags are packed. The last minute details have been taken care of or will be by the time our heads hit the pillows tonight.

We are leaving at the butt-crack of dawn tomorrow morning. Adam says we're leaving at 4:00 AM but even in my early bird world there's no such thing.

I know that I will have lots of blogging material when we return
but in the meantime in order to keep Nothing Random updated and fresh (no one likes a smelly old blog) I have gotten permission from a few blogger friends to dig around in their archives and post some of my all time favorites that they have written. This will not only give you an opportunity to read what I think is the best of the best but it will give you some insight into what - exactly - I like to read in my spare time.

I know many of them are anxious to see what I will pick of their writings to post so this should be a fun time for all of us. Check back each day. I anticipate Internet access most days and the posts will be ready to go before I leave so that I can easily and quickly post them. We leave EARLY tomorrow morning so I will post the first one then.
In the meantime, NO PARTIES while I'm gone!! That means you, Grace! You too, Twin or else we will have a CHAT when I get to your house!!!

I will be having a blast, touring the country and checking out toy stores along the way. Surely we can find SOMETHING new to play with which in turn will provide something new to blog about!!
See you when I get back and in the meantime, I hope you enjoy these awesome reruns!!

America, the Beautiful

This was emailed to me by a friend. The video is done by a 15 year old girl by the name of Lizzie Palmer. When I saw it, I thought of all of you and our freedom to get on our computers and talk about what we want to talk about. That's when it hit me, I want you to see this, too.

I wish I could say "Enjoy!" However there's really nothing all that enjoyable about war.

I love you all and the freedom we are able to share.

And for those of you who might be interested in that whole buried car story that I'm so excited about this week, I just got this email....

Only 4 days away until the Belvedere sees the light of day!

If you cannot be with us you can still watch live. At noon central time it will stream live on oklatravelnet.com and at 7 p.m. on kotv.com - both sites archive their shows so you can watch over and over!
